Playing GTA3:MTA, I had been killed and respawned, and started punching at a friend. Guess the game glitched out, because I hit him a few times, it did damage, I killed him and it said +FKU+VVolven killed BNS_Viper (Uzi). Just another testimonial about fistfighting.

It'd probably require some kind of coding, but maybe there'd be a way to illuminate the bullet's path, as if it were already shot while the sniper is aiming?

First, the tech support answer: Do you press T ingame to bring up the text line? If you do, I noticed if I'm connected to a server where I have a higher ping (say 200) my game actually'll lose packets for the chat, whereas I can alt-tab out of the game and chat just fine. That's just me though, as my PC's on the slowish side, so I dunno if this is the definite cause.

Wow, I'm surprised you guys are reacting like this, cMc's been around since I've been playing (sometime back in Feburary methinks) and they've always modded. Granted, I thought they were behaving lately as I've seen Jacob being helpful on the forums, but I guess not.

I might not always be available, but I can admin/judge if you need it. Also, much as yield said, people tend to take advantage when rules aren't specified, so maybe a detailed list of glitches should be posted, so you don't get the "Well, crouching and jumping do the same thing" arguments? And maybe some penalties for rule violations, I.E. moly/nade glitch = player DQ for one game, team dq for one game for 2 or more blatant glitchers, team removed from tourney for cheat glitches (armour glitch, pausing)?

I wouldn't classify it as deathmatch, though that's a major part of it, but it more of a free-for-all thing, a lot of people race or stunt or hold events aside from the usual run 'n gun. No to both, but drive-bys should be synced once MTA: Blue is released. Yep, modified games can't be played with MTA as they cause instability issues. Something some people do is keep their modded GTA in the original folder, then install GTA again in a new folder for use with MTA. Welcome to MTA and have fun.

K, I only read the first page and the last 3 posts, but I can't help but find it amusing that even after all this debate about typos and acronyms, that people are still making a bunch of typos. Good stuff.

It's not hard to psychoanalzye these people, they make it fairly obvious what they're like by talking. Any new players reading this that're fearing cheaters, get this: My average life span playing against pros: 5-20 seconds, sometimes I luck out and kill them... rarely. Average life span against cheats (while recording with FRAPS): Way over 1 minute, and only because I want them to kill me so I can wrap it up. If you're on a server with a cheat or two and a few other players with no admin, I'm sure if you can prove it, everyone else'll grab stubbies, grenades and helis. They won't stay long.

The MTA gang forums started up because of so-called "forum nazis", and I agree there were a few stupid ban reasons, but they were still reasons. I think the fix for this problem is reinstalling MTA, not GTA.

Good news, while it's nor perfect, the aiming is a lot better than is was, though you still get the occasional desync/lag that'll force you to use the lag compensation, but more often than not, dead-on or near-dead-on shots count.

I wouldn't just peg the jumping thing on the stubby and call it a glitch, as in any game, or even life, you won't just stand there and shoot, you're gonna jump out of the way of oncoming fire. I do, however, think it's a cheap weapon that anyone can use (vets just "perfected" methods on using and/or exploiting it). I wouldn't say take it out of the game as it's fun to use, but take it away as a spawn weapon and hide it somewhere remote, like the grenades and the stilt houses.

Did no one read or even see the picture I posted of when this guy was flying a van across Portland in MTA about 3 or 4 pages back?
