why dont you tards go on your own server ? Or better...dont even go online and instead stay local and mod and play with yourself That's probably all your "skills" are good for ..

If it wouldnt be worth it i wouldnt play it..so what can i say ? The most annoying thing are maybe not the cheaters but rather crashes and bugs....means it can hapen every time you have to restart/load the whole game which is kinda annoying. Takes a few seconds...but stilll...shouldnt be....and some other quirks which take a while to get the hang of it. As for cheaters...just ignore them or go another server... Spawnkilling....doesnt happen THAT often....but if it happens...well just shoot back Nothing against a nice spawn war once in a while... Besides i think the purchase of GTA is a no-brainer - it should be not more than $30...and in my opinion alone the songs which come with it are worth the $$$ alone (i burned a few 80s CDs of it and will take them to a real trip to FL in a few weeks - what a hell of fun going to Florida with the VC tracks playing in the car....LOL ...not to mention the *two* games - single player and MTA You cannot get a better and more fun game on PC right now even if its already a bit dated (graphic wise) my $0.02 cent

ok, you're talking about LAN...but..i still somewhat doubt that you pull 100MB/s off the internet If yes, then congrats....i'd be happy if i had 3MB/s

the 'smallest' connection in my opinion is dial-up, everything else is broadband/T1 whatever and suitable for a lots of players. For dial-up i think the border is somewhere around 10 to 15 users.....26 users is definatly not for 'a small' connection.

ok, i HAVE to ask this because i never bothered to check on it....i dont have the VC handbook (anymore) which would answer this...(i guess) a) The weapon icon in the right upper corner.....usually it has two numbers, like xxxx-xxx. I know the second number is how much ammo is left. What is the FIRST number ??? and...related.... b) If i pick up weapons...let's say M60...and everytime someone dies and drops his M60 i go and snatch it. The first number increases. Means what ? Does the weapon get stronger ? Does it get a wider range ? Hmmmm ok..thanx

I prefer having motivation, challenge and fun while playing. Your posting and the reasons given just confirm my observations that the average IQ of a cheater must be somewhere between -20 and 5....

this would make sense only in certain, new game modi which are limited to a certain time. When the turn/time limit is up then everyone, incl. the waitng dead spectators are joining the game again. Needles to say, this is DUMB and totally contradicts the philosophy (flexibility and freedom to act) behind VC..if i want some stupid time limited/turn absed game then i play America's Army (which i hate btw) and not MTA. And....YOU can of course stay there in spectator mode and 'watch'...as for MY part, i will of course re-connect to the game because i want to PLAY and not being some dead 'spectator'. (It's like jail [because you are unable to play because you have to wait a certain time until the round is over....what other reason should there be behind 'dying and going to spectator mode' instead of 'dying and re-starting and continue playing' Please dont screw up a otherwise good game with weird ideas which seem to be taken from OTHER games .

ehrm..yes....happens to me about 9 millions times a night..if i'd post every time i get disconnected i think they would need an extra forum just for that purpose Seriously..dont know what connection you have (dial-up ?)...if you're on dial-up and play on servers with more than 8 people or so then it might happen. Play on smaller servers..and accept that there might be some bugs left and you get disconnected once in a while. Btw. i think i have less disconnects ever since the latest server version...but could also be that i now avoid the bigger servers and tehrefore get less disconnects...dont know.

yes....but you always have the option to go to another server. As for my understanding the small servers (up to 10 people) are more suitable for dial-up users...so dont act surprised or annoyed seeing high-pingers on the smaller servers. Besides...i still get kind of annoyed about the whole bitching and whining because moderately high pings are definetly still (kind of) 'playable' - means i can kill others and we can get killed as well. If you're gettig so annoyed because you cant get your 100 kills in 10 mins..then for god's sake take a break from the game

its funny that you were the one yesterday COMPLAINING how other people always complain when they cant shoot someone - and complain when they die and scream "CHEATER!", "LAGGER!" whatsoever.. And the day after, TODAY, you scream EXACTLY this to all people and everytime someone hits you or you cant hit someone you scream "LAGGER!"...then you spend the last two hours in a heli "killing all laggers" from your heli because you are so frustrated....

i think there are at least as many real cheaters around as there are innocent people being accused of cheating.

first, i think mrbump brought it to a point ! We high-pingers have probs KILLING and GETTING killed !!! It has two sides. If it were the case (like you say) then i'd never be killed ...i WISH So..you must be wrong with your 'literally can't hit them' because we can definetly be hit ! (All the time....lol) It's also a annoyance to me - i THINK i have a disadvantage shooting and also often getting desynced......i dont know how often i shoot and i dont see health reduced... and....the best thing is that everytime i kill someone i hear the same excuse about high ping etc....like my kills are rather coincedence and i wouldnt be able to shoot them if i had a lower ping etc...it would be very hard for you to prove that a high ping gives me an *advantage* in shooting As said...two sides....(and btw. if i could exchange my dial-up for cable right NOW i'd do it..but i have to wait a few months more Edit: If he kicks your ass, sorry, then he is NOT the worst player You just echo the usual whining and complaints...again...high-pingers die and are being shot all the times ! i dont hink that the MTA people are very fond of the editing idea However, for general VC editing/modding (no multiplayer)..there are countless sites covering that subject... just on the frontpage there are some links etc...

hmmm....to answer my own questios i play(ed) as robber right now - and actually it's hard to say whether the robber has an advantage over mexican or not... I have to say i THINK that killing is easier with the robber...stubby twice is almost always certain death.....(some people even mentioning it's "cheap" on the other hand i love the mexi gun because of its long range. The different chars just need different fighting strategies...mexican better avoid robber in short range and tries to take'em out from the distance. 98% of all robbers shoot you once..and then again when you get up....and as a mexi you have to fight/target much longer..which of course gives the robber more time to shoot you and once you're shot...ehrm...you get the idea

i am totally aware of this problem. Hmmm...how do i know who is admining the server ? I dont trust anything i see on *my* screen anyway and so its always better an admin goes to the place and sees for himself what's going on. Regarding the skins: Why is this glitch only happening on official #1 ??? I have never seen people/skins like this on any other server...

since this recent thread obviously came to an end... What's wrong with the official server # 1 ??? Is this now the new official MTA lamer & cheater server ??? People aparently running around in custom skins....and people who need 10 shots with a stubby to kill them - and the same people too stupid to kill others ?

definatly a lag issue.... i was playing on official #1 yesterday and i have never seen so much nonsense happen before. Probably also since i run into a variety fo problems on any server where there is more than 7 or so people playing. My day yesterday loked like this: About 10 times i saw people 'floating' around, wondering whether i hit them or not. ON MY SCREEN (i say on my screen because i still do not KNOW what actually happened) i killed a bunch of people...at least 10 to 15 which i shot and saw them dropping all their stuff.... i did NOT see any points credited to my score. It was like the people were shot, dropped...and then re-spawned somewhere else...i didnt see them continuing fighting after i 'shot' them....i just can assume shot them but in this case i can only guess. One time i saw credits going towards my score approx. 2 mins after i killed someone....and a big amount of my chat messages also didnt go thru yesterday which is also proof how laggy the whole thing was. Needless to say that there were also a unusual high nuber of people getting hit and never losing health...and other people accusing me of cheating for what reason ever. Typical example is someone saying: "I shot/cut you 1000 times and you didnt lose health" Of course it didnt happen on my screen - instead i circle people all the time..they dont even have 'time' to shoot/saw me 1000 times...it's not that am standig there and waiting to get shot Wondering how it looked on their screen. Definetly more problems the laggier/fuller a server is... Btw. who was filming on #1 yesterday ? Would like to see that vid....

could you explain the math behind this ? Starting health is 100 according to the weapons.dat(interesting file btw.) the sg does 80 damage, spas 100 and stuppy sg 120 damage. (If i read this right) This would explain why i mostly get shot with ONE shot if these weapons to 100 or more damage ! Just out of curiosity....

why is it, that the 'good' people always spawn as robbers ? Can i assume that the robbers have an advantage over, say, a mexican ? I just get really p!ssed that there are always *some* people who manage to kill me with ONE shot...while it is very rare that i can kill people with one shot for msyelf. Even if people get hit and even if a have a shotgun and shoot them ? I am just wondering how balanced the chars actually are with their advantages/disadvantages......if they were all more or less the same...why are all the clan-people robbers ?

it's the 3rd time in two days some ULK accuse others of cheating...yesterday it was d3vi4nt accusing me jsut as a sidenote. the pattern is always that obviously everybody *must* be a cheater who fights against you and kicks your a$$ !!! If you kill a ULK: Cheater I did not have the expression that FBI was cheating btw....
