4 Way

Back in the days of 0.3 we all used to do a 4-way gangwar hosted by VCES. We had a few of these and they were amazingly good fun :lol: sadly however they died out during the anticipation for 0.4

FMJ and UVA have been talking and are planning on hosting another one very soon, sometime during next week in fact. Obviously we need 2 more clans to make it a 4 way and we need to know who is interested. The rules will be very similar to the old VCES ones but due to the unsyncage problems of 0.5 new rules are going to be introduced. These may cause huge problems but if everyone has the right attitude towards this then it should work great.

We are looking for clans that would do this for fun rather than to win and can be trusted not to do certain things therefore the 2 other clans will not be first come first serve.

If there is enough interest and we feel it can work with the people involved i will post rules and set a date, but id like to get it sorted soon as most of FMJ are itching to do this :D

1. U must have at least 1 defending or 1 attacking at all times

2. If your base is under attack u may return to get rid of other forces

3. No Helikills, Modding, Cheating, Pausing, Glitching, Spawn Killing (respawners)

4. Weapons, im sure when we played we allowed everything but we can sort this rule out with eachother at another time (same for vcc)

5. Last clan standing wins, it can be played for 3 or 5 rounds, if u play 3 rounds and each time gets a win, u play a 4th decider round to claim a winner

6. No Interior Bases such as mansion

7. Base accessble by foot, tho u may have some on the roof (if the last person(s) left are on the roof, dont bitch just get a chopper and attack the roof

8. Teams are 5v5v5v5

9. If u crash/pop-up/timout while NOT IN COMBAT, u can come back however If u crash/pop-up/timout while IN COMBAT, u are out till the next round, u may only respawn if your team has respawns for having less than 5 members

10. Using Subs in a match is legal, as soon as the sub enters the server and the person being subbed isnt in combat with anyone u may make the trade, if u are seen with more than 5 ingame, e.g. if the sub and the person being subbed are ingame together active and spotted both of them are out unless u have a valid reason (its best that the player that gets subbed goes out of game and changed tag to [sPEC]. seeing that this will be played on a 26 man server, each team can have ONLY 2 max specs in

ok them rules look great, just a few additions

Pickups: No pickups before the round begins, just spawn then head for base to get it underway asap, however during the round every pickup is allowed (maybe bar flamethrower, but im sure the flamer could add some laughs to the mix :D ) If your defence need pickups then i guess you'll have to sort that out by taking it in turns.

The 1 attacking, 1 defending rule sounds good but obviously certain situations can be understandable

About the vcc, disallowing it would make it smoother, but i guess you wouldnt have to respawn much and there would be enough people to watch out for glitchs so i am willing to allow the vcc

If any unsyncage problems occour, all players effected must restart and allowed to return to base or any specified point. This will have to be announced in the server chat and trust people not to try and blindly fight :lol:

5v5v5v5 sounds good and 2 specs for each team if any spaces are left with teams not able to fill these 2 slots then speak now so we can let some outsiders watch.

So with all this set we are ready for our 4-way, 8pm next wednesday (11th May)
