Gut job @AleksCore

I changed only fps, which isn't a big job *lol*

Thanks to the devs and to the contributors! Cheers 1.5.3

I wonder about those forums members who had helped in some functions development, did they used "Lua" or "C++" ?

I know you said it's backwards compatible but i wanna be sure. If i update my server with 1.5.3 files would 1.5.2 players be able to join still? Don't wanna update if I'm not sure, sorry :D

C++ obviously. However, there were some changes in the resources pack which were just Lua and whose authors were also credited for them in the news post.

It should work fine.

One thing for people wanting to install this. When you update your 1.5.2 to 1.5.3 and try to start it it will give error that a .dll file's missing. Google it, download it and put it in : MTA San Andreas\MTA folder. Then a message telling you to see some online help will pop up when you try to run the game again. Hit yes, download both things needed, install them and start MTA 1.5.3. Should be fine now. :)

@koragg the mod worked fine for me right after updating 1.5.2 to 1.5.3. Didn't get any prompts about missing DLL file when I've tried to start it.

So likely it's a machine specific problem rather than a global one.

Never download just the .dll file, always download the package or program that correlates with that specific .dll file.

Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable x64 or x86 (depending on which server bit type you have) needs to be installed.

Get the latest on from here https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=53840 and your server will work fine.

I just installed it and it made no difference, I see the same error.

You did not have a .dll error, that was for an above post :P

I'm guessing you messed up something in the port section, paste your mtaserver.conf info (without password if you have one).

I changed the server port to '22004' and now the server has successfully started. Was it a bug with the new version tho?

I'm not sure, the SiK servers have never used the default port, hopefully a developer might know.

That's because the server resource script it's not the same as the downloaded one. Try to update both.

That's what I'm saying. If you make change to a client sided script and restart the resource, the cache doesn't get updated.
