the proble i am having is when i save a replay it saves but the file is a .REP.

i use fraps and when i want to take a REPLAY, the #'s on the top turn red then frezzes and then goes to my desktop. then i put the saved REPLAY onto Window's Movie Maker and it won't let me it in.

.rep files are not actual media/movie files, but recorded game data, movie maker programs cant read them. They can only be used by gta.

if fraps freezes when you start recording (the red numbers mean your recording) then it could mean that your system cannot handle fraps and the game at the same time. make sure you have lots of free hard drive space and a good cpu/videocard/amount of ram.
