How did you made so many tanks? In mta there are only 3 turret towered vehicles. Or did you add more skins for one tank?
It is not very hard to do using vehicle component rotation applied to adapted model components.

I did not use turret towered vehicles. Even rhino ( standart GTA tank ).

And gta did not allow to add more then 1 skin to same one vehicle and have it spawned with two different skins.

What i did is custom turret rotation system ( and this is place where AfterAll14 is not right, it is difficult if u want not only rotate turret but have correct aim/targeting system, never seen this done in mta scripts; try it; note standart rhino tank's aiming is not perfect compare to WorldOfTanks aim system. And more: when i start doing this stuff standart MTA function like getVehicleComponentRotation and getVehicleComponentPosition was broken end return wrong values, developers fixed it later. thanks ).

Then, even with custom turret system you must syncronize it to players, this cant be done via setElementData if u think abount bandwidth usage. You need to figure this out too.

Good work, some things I'd like to point out however is that the sound when you hit someone is obnoxiously loud also - add some delay to it. The sound playing the very instant you hit someone doesn't sound all too good, maybe a 300-400ms delay would work? :)

All sounds will be replaced, this 3-4 sounds are for test period nothing more.

About delay. All hit sounds happen when server decided you hit some surface + your ping.

That means if you hit enemy in 50 meters the sound delay is 50ms+ping. Tank's "Bullet" speed is about 1000meters/second.

300-400ms delay you got if you hit enemy who is 300-400 meters distance away from you.

So do you think it must be slower like in battlefield , where you can see how tank "bullets" fly ? Same in wot but they have bigger speed.

Hehe I did not noticed one thing : above algorithm is NOT true, if you hit vehicle in ~~<50 meters, but still is 100% true if distance is more. If distance to enemy vehicle is less then ~~ 50 meters sound happens instant. Still cant add 300 ms delay because of reasons described above.

-18.04.16 Added Protection (countermeasures) and Radio-Rocket ( ATGM ) [READ DESCRIPTION] [ HD video ].

Hi all.

1. After previous update and tv-rocket video i accepted question about "balance".

This update brings tank protection (countermeasures) - watch whole video to understand how it works. Turn on annotations!

Note: smoke effect is only for test and will be replaced.

2. Second stuff: Radio-rocket ( ATGM ). It is typical ATGM - anti-tank guided missile - we call it radio-rocket because here is tv-rocket then new one must be radio-rocket :wink:

If you played Battlefield you know about BGM-71 TOW, so behaviour of radio-rocket is similar but easier to control.
