Recommended Posts

I recently wrote a script for the offical .:RA:. IRC server to give help and also introduce numerous oprotunites in joining the .:RA:. to start off I wrote a list of all of the members which are part of my server death.phys1ks.com:2003

Note: This is processed the same way as nickserv

on 1:text:*{
 if ($1 == MEMBERS) { msg $nick Founder: Myth | msg $nick Member: .:RA:.Cobra | msg $nick Member: .:RA:.Colin | msg $nick Member: .:RA:.DRASTC |  msg $nick Member: .:RA:.GHoST | msg $nick Member: .:RA:.Jason | msg $nick Member: .:RA:.Killa | msg $nick Member: .:RA:.MrTrip | msg $nick Member: .:RA:.Nexus | msg $nick Member: .:RA:.Nuke | msg $nick Member: .:RA:.Prank | msg $nick Member: .:RA:.ReXuS | halt }

Normaliy which ever bot I have loaded into a #channel the command would be: /msg members, as you can see the bot will pm you:

 MEMBERS
Founder: Myth
Member: .:RA:.Cobra
Member: .:RA:.Colin
Member: .:RA:.DRASTC
Member: .:RA:.GHoST
Member: .:RA:.Jason
Member: .:RA:.Killa
Member: .:RA:.MrTrip
Member: .:RA:.Nexus
Member: .:RA:.Nuke
Member: .:RA:.Prank
Member: .:RA:.ReXuS

Now everything works fine but what i'm trying to do now is have other commands such as: /msg help, and have another like: /msg help members, so far i've tried:

on 1:text:*{
 if ($1 == members) { msg $nick Founder: Myth | msg $nick Member: .:RA:.Cobra | msg $nick Member: .:RA:.Colin | msg $nick Member: .:RA:.DRASTC |  msg $nick Member: .:RA:.GHoST | msg $nick Member: .:RA:.Jason | msg $nick Member: .:RA:.Killa | msg $nick Member: .:RA:.MrTrip | msg $nick Member: .:RA:.Nexus | msg $nick Member: .:RA:.Nuke | msg $nick Member: .:RA:.Prank | msg $nick Member: .:RA:.ReXuS | halt }
 if ($1 == help) {
if ($2 == members) { msg $nick MEMBERS gives a listing of clan .:RA:. 'Revolutionary Antagonist' | msg $nick Type: /msg  help members }
else { blah blah }
}

May any of you please help me?

Ok the script that i'm trying to configure properly now is a little better although when it messeges you it doesn't return 'msg $nick MEMBERS gives a listing of clan .:RA:. 'Revolutionary' and displays /msg members, and leaves out: msg $nick Type: /msg help members, AND it give displays if ($1 == members) { }

on 1:text:*{
 if ($1 == members) { msg $nick Founder: Myth | msg $nick Member: .:RA:.Cobra | msg $nick Member: .:RA:.Colin | msg $nick Member: .:RA:.DRASTC |  msg $nick Member: .:RA:.GHoST | msg $nick Member: .:RA:.Jason | msg $nick Member: .:RA:.Killa | msg $nick Member: .:RA:.MrTrip | msg $nick Member: .:RA:.Nexus | msg $nick Member: .:RA:.Nuke | msg $nick Member: .:RA:.Prank | msg $nick Member: .:RA:.ReXuS | halt }
 if ($1 == help) {
   if ($2 == members) {
     msg $nick MEMBERS gives a listing of clan .:RA:. 'Revolutionary Antagonist'
     msg $nick Type: /msg help members
   }
