Dawgy Posted October 10, 2004 Share Posted October 10, 2004 My Vice City is somehow strangely not working. I go to launch it, and it just does the spinning disc. That's all it does. I've reinstalled it, copied it to a new CD to make sure there weren't scratches and everything. What in the world is wrong? Edit: Okay, I got Vice City to work alone, but now when I try run it with MTA, it does the same thing. When I reset the game path and closed MTA, it said something about weapons.dat and weapons.orginal. Is there something wrong with my version of MTA or something? Link to comment

If it said that those files have been altered, try replacing them with backup ones (if you have them). If it still doesn't work try reinstalling MTA. Sometimes in the middle of a game, for whatever reason it will crash out and say my weapon.dat and others have been changed. I tried replacing it with my backups but it still did the same thing. I reinstalled MTA and it turned out it had nothing to do with GTA, it was just MTA. Link to comment
