Low FPS, no methods worked yet.

Question

Hi there! After asking everywhere in google, yahoo, etc. I haven't got any satisfactory answer. I even googled for hours but no luck. Here's my issue. I play CIT(Community of integrity and transparency) most of you might be familiar as it's a famous server. It has players above 900. And there are special criminal events which occur from time to time. It is of 20 v 20, plus including criminals makes it 60+ people in one interior. And at this place my PC gives up, and starts giving me low FPS. Very low, It is that much slow that it takes 4 secs to take one step. I've been suffering for this and I finally thought of getting a GPU, I had pre-installed 256 MB of graphics. I installed NVIDIA GeFoce GT610 2 GB DDR3 in the hope that I will be getting good FPS. But still no sign of it. I was facing the same old issue I used to face. And now, after some months I'm thinking of upgrading my RAM which I did. It used to be 2 but it is 3 now. It is 3 GB just for now since he didn't had 2 GB, I told him just to install 1 GB so that I can see a improvement in game but nope, no improvement, the same old crappy FPS, the same old gameplay.

Here are are some specs and everything:

Processor: AMD Phenom 9650 Quad-Core Processor, 2.3 GHz

Graphics card: GeForce GT 610 (2 GB DDR3 memory)

RAM: 4 GB (Current is 3 GB, I'll be installing 2 or more to make it 4+)

Some SSs: My FPS when I was in a outdoor criminal event called PDR: http://i.imgur.com/8u3g6RY.png

My RAM: http://i.imgur.com/DA9gB5Q.png

So, what do you guys think What is the issue? What can I do to get it fixed? I really need to get this fixed!

You sure about that? I had updated my drivers and all other stuff before but there wasn't any improvement.

EDIT: Ok, just played some mins ago. I attended criminal events with 38+ people, but there were still issues. I wasn't getting a constant FPS. Sometimes it reaches 20+ or even 25, and that too with above 40+ people, and sometimes it gets down to 11-12 with 20 people. Why's that? Can't it be locked or something? It isn't giving me the same FPS all the time. I get massive amounts of FPS drops!

RE-EDIT: Here are some SSs, couldn't upload them earlier as I had to leave for school.

(Standing at the same exact place, I didn't even moved an inch!)

You'll notice that from 28 FPS it came down to 11. Much low! How do I fix the FPS drops I get everytime? When I am roaming around SA, It drops from 40 to 15.

The same thing happened.

Keeping the outdated drivers isn't going to help anything, more likely to be even slower.

I don't think you have anything else to try, we tried fixing performance on a system that almost can't speed up at all.

The graphics card is the bottleneck and while the rest of your system runs fine, the card is ultra low-end and no matter how you configure/update, slow cards will remain slow. The only thing you can do is replacing the graphics card.

Because of that it isn't an MTA problem, it's your components (PC) on every game equal to GTA/MTA in requirements or up.

We have answerred you many times here (55 posts) and helped you in a way that you would only get on specialised technical support forums, but managed to pull that off due to own technical skills which is an addition to posters' average knownledge.

I don't think you can expect more here than the advice upgrading your video card with a better one. You have 1gb of video memory but it's 64-bit memory which is literally the slowest you can find now.

I agree wholeheartedly with Dutchman101. We tried everything we could, your graphics card is simply too anemic to play MTA at an acceptable frame rate. Upgrade your graphics card.

ok , What About "Computer heat"

just_test computer temperature is very high which he will get low FPS

I see. It might take some time to get a new GPU. But which GPU you think is the best and is surely gonna boost my FPS? It should be reliable too.

Also, whenever I open an interface, just for example /stats, my interface is not transparent but I've seen many people have transparent interface. Here are some SSs:

2: http://i.imgur.com/fUdz5f6.jpg << It's mine.

I removed their name to hide their identity. And btw mine is the one in white color.

@Albander: you sure heating is a issue?

About the GUI , he have a custom theme , you can check some right here : https://forum.multitheftauto.com/viewforum.php?f=139

About the GPU , my Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 1GB is doing great and it's cheap: http://www.amazon.com/Sapphire-Radeon-PCI-Express-Graphics-11200-16-20G/dp/B0093172HQ ( If you want, you can overclock it and have better performance than a stock 7950 )

And about the heating , just run HWMonitor and post the temps when you are idle ( doing nothing , desktop ) and playing MTA.

Here's the link to the program: http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html

Nope, sorry , that's a custom GUI theme. As I said, you can download one or use a stock one from MTA Team ( there are 3 or 2 themes that are coming with MTA, try to set it from the options )

So, the CPU temps are high , do you use the stock cooler? Do you have airflow in the case?

And if you really want more support , give a shot to http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/ We aren't a hardware forum anyway, we just tried to help you with our knowledge.
