Bug Launch MTA

Trinx

Question

Hey guys,

MTADiag Logs : http://pastebin.mtasa.com/973345197

When i want to launch MTA, it doesn't work and says :

"Error loading netc.dll module! (Error 14001: ....... )

Do you want to see some on-line help about this problem ?"

And when i choose "No", it says :

"MTA:SA needs Administrator access for the following task: 'Update install settings'

Please confirm in the next window"

And in the next window when i accept, i have again the same message (the first).

I tried also to install frameworks for netc.dll :

Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable package (x86)

Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable package (x86)

Thanks.

It's caused by folder permissions. (most likely)

Delete MTA, re-install (download again) but this time not directly on D:/ or C:/ but just as default; Program Files (*x86*)

as the installer lists for default location.

If you run MTA directly from a main disk or station you can expect permission issues resulting in module failure.

MTA: San Andreas  [CL16]   (CTRL+C to copy)
---------------------------
Load failed. Please ensure that the latest data files have been installed correctly.

C:\Windows\WinSxS\manifests\x86_microsoft.vc90.openmp_1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b_9.0.30729.4148_none_80b7c8a91e9dd16a.manifest

Ok, that seems corrupted.

Can I see this file content for comparison:

C:\Windows\WinSxS\manifests\x86_microsoft.vc90.crt_1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b_9.0.30729.4926_none_508ed732bcbc0e5a.manifest

Ok, thanks.

It seems that an old version of Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable - x86 is corrupt, but still hanging around despite you uninstalling it.

Try this:

* Boot PC into safe more

* Control Panel -> Programs and Features

* Find and uninstall all programs which start with:

  • Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable - x86

Then reboot PC and run this: http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download ... px?id=5582

The netc.dll error no longer appears! Thank you, but ..

MTA does not start, and the second error is still displayed:

---------------------------

MTA: San Andreas [CL16] (CTRL+C to copy)

---------------------------

Load failed. Please ensure that the latest data files have been installed correctly.

Do you want to see some on-line help about this problem ?

Oui Non
