Problem running MTA:SA in a virtual machine

diegofkda

Question

Recently, I installed MTA:SA into a virtual machine and well, it runs well but once the game has to load objects, it just freezes. So, for example, the loading screen shows and everything, but once the game has to show 3D objects, it just freezes (happens in single-player and MTA). The main reason of installing it into a virtual machine is that I want to run multiple MTA:SA clients to test my scripts without messing with others. By the way, already ran MTADiag and the problem hasn't been fixed.

Here's my dxdiag report:

VMWare Player is another software similar to VirtualBox, but I think VMWare Player has better 3D capabilities. Install VMWare Player on the host machine and then install your desired operating system again, then install VMWare Tools when it asks. GTA:SA should work then.

*An huge facepalm*. Meh, VirtualBox was a very good OS emulator (though we all know its 3D functionality, which you get after installing a bunch of slow drivers, is crap), but gonna see how this one works. Well, really, thank you two for the support. If something goes wrong I'm gonna post my problems later.
