Guest Posted May 1, 2003 Share Posted May 1, 2003 I don't suppose it's possible to get a ZIP of the installation? You see, the program tries to update a few files that are loaded at start up, and thus gives me bad version issues.. I've tried booting in safe mode, and they're still in use. And before some wise guy tells me to re-install Windows, I'll let you know this is a brand new install, and there's no fucking way I'm reinstalling my OS to fix something I can fix myself if I just had access to files that are installed (Copyin'em over in Dos mode should do it) If anybody cares to send me the two files in question (SHDOCVW.DLL and OLEAUT32.DLL both found in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM) just reply to me and I'll PM you my e-mail adress. Mind you, I'm running Win98 so people with a Different OS, please disregard, I'm not sure if the DLLs are OS dependant or not, so I don't wana risk it...
