Hello!

I just set up a test server to test this out. I'm new to MTA and used a dayz script for SA-MP and it was trash.

We found this one and we LOVE it! The capabilities MTA has is astounding!

I sent you a PM regarding purchasing.

There's an item the server thinks still exists but wasn't properly deleted. The lua is truly a mess - I have intent of working on it, but I'm still fighting with this site. My truck just got totaled and I bought a new car this week and I'm having to go watch my parents dogs for them so I don't have access to my PC. I will very soon be able to work on this a ton. I'll be sure to give a thread update by the end of the week.

I spoke with ffs Sniper and plan on purchasing this this weekend.

Also, I'm not sure where to post bug reports, so I'll just pass them along here:

  • When an admin specs someone, and then comes out of spec, we can no longer use items in our inventories or use the vehicle menu to place items in vehicles or repair them.
    There are moments when someone cannot be given blood. We have found a temporary fix. Have the person relog, then the menu "Administer Blood" appears.

That's it for now. I will post more as we find them. Thanks again and please, never give up on this project. This is what brought me to MTA a few days ago. Wish i had found it sooner.

Most of the errors shown in your console can be ignored. Also, new updates are to be released after the website has been finished by Woovie. Don't panic, in the current state the gamemode is without a doubt playable and kinda stable.

Sniper, can you make your own DayZ server? Because lots of DayZ server is non-English and even not updated.

Mine is meant for English.

A suggestion:

Admins have a hard time dealing with players who refuse to listen and will kill admins trying to deal with a situation.

For example, today one of my players died due to being stuck in some mapping. I tpd them back to get there stuff, only to have some players show up and kill me.

I tpd to them and tried to explain, only to get shot again. I tried freezing them (didn't work on one for some reason) they logged out, logged in and killed me again.

i finally said screw it and banned them for 12 hours.

It's very difficult to perform admin duties and deal with idiots who just don't care.

I even tried asking one to leave the area so i could refund items to a player who died by a "flyer" and he said no, and killed me.

My tip: add a way for admins to be temporarily invincible so players can't kill us and allow us to assist others.

Oh cool a connection time out, great site. Our site is already starting to go up. It will be up sometime this coming week. Forums are installed, mod database is installed, CMS is installed. Configuration is in the works but I'm having difficulties as the domain is set to forward any and everything so, it's hard to test anything (I can't test it really). It's configured on my web server and working already.

An update: Forums are up and running. I am working on the front page theme. Front page is done, just really ugly right now. Downloads page has been cancelled for now, and put on the forums. I will probably write some PHP for a custom download page in the future. Expect the page to be up by Monday!

Is there any hope that you guys could throw me the full source code?

I find a closed source gamemode quite frustrating as a server hoster and developer since I have many decent ideas to implement to the gamemode itself and so on and I'd love to make them happen but it's a pain in the ass without the source. At least the source of some of the core components would be nice...

And if you are scared of me leaking your precious gamemode's source then you are wrong, I have absolutely no reason to do so.

Anyways, do as you wish, but I would highly appreciate it if I could get at least the source of some of the core files in my hands as I said... I tried to decompile them with many different de-assemblers with no luck so GJ at protecting them at least.

Edit: And I guess the files are encrypted? so it's quite impossible to even decompile (Well, decrypt) them...

Hello guys,

I am having a problem, DayZ script needs an admin permission but I can not add it to admin's list in ACL file because it gets kick permission as well and this is just a big problem because my friends get kicked over hamachi due to high ping.

How can I disable ping kick without removing it from the list of admins ?

I downloaded the DayZ from the alternate download the Google Drive one and my MTA version is 1.3.5

That means that your server has too many slots.

How can i fix it?

Is anyone running a server with the latest (this) version? Probably one with just the barebone files and not 200MB of additional content like every other server out there.
