Hello,

I have a VPS account but i don't know how i get the MTA server running on it.

Can somebody please help me?

I have teamviewer.

Step by step :

First Step : You have to upload this file into your vps and give this file ( 777 ) Permissions .

Second Step : You have to use this tool download it from here Putty .

Third Step : Open putty Login and type this command :

./new.sh 

As the file name now wait for loading all files and setting after a few minutes you will get a option on the putty window :

Yes or No

Type 'y' To choose yes and press 'Enter' , Setup the VPS done! Go to the ftp then you'll find a file with this name :

'multitheftauto_linux-1.3.0' Change it to what you want and have fun !

Hi ! I mad what you Told This Guy To do with His VPS ! and i made too ! so,i get this error after download those file with the ./new.sh :

libreadline.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

ERROR: Loading mod (/home/S1/multitheftauto_linux-1.3.0/mods/deathmatch/deathmat

ch.so) failed!

Press Q to shut down the server!

What is the Sollution please ?

But the apt-get don't work with putty ? what i make for him ! i had the same problem with :

libreadline.so.5

You have to be root to use apt-get.

If it is your own vps, connect with putty and do the following before usting apt:

sudo su
