Sillyhed2000 Posted October 3, 2003 Share Posted October 3, 2003 You click "connect"? I don't think that that's hosting mate, that's connecting to another game. As for the IP address, that's meant to be the name of the server that you're connecting to (the person who's running the game), not your own. Use All Seeing Eye to get that. Alex3305 Posted October 3, 2003 Share Posted October 3, 2003 Don't type YOUR IP-adress in the IP box but type the server IP adress.. Next time read the First Time MTA User Guide... You can look up for Servers with ASE (All-Seeing Eye) Link to comment
me Posted October 3, 2003 Share Posted October 3, 2003 You'll notice that in your MTA directory are 2 .EXEs... one is the client (MTAClient.exe), which CONNECTS to a server that someone else is hosting. The other is the server (MTAServer.exe) which HOSTS a server that other people connect to. Link to comment
