What do you mean by 'mapping' server?

If your map editor just messed up and want to fix it, use Dark Dragon's config and download the latest resource from here.

If you mean with 'mapping server' a server where you can map with your friends, then use the default MTA server and default MTA config file, run your server via MTA SA directory/server/MTA server.exe and type in the server console 'start editor' (if you want admin rights then you must edit the acl.xml file).

Actually, the default MTA cfg file must let your server work without problems (always if you don't want to unwanted people to enter your server, so it won't show up into the server list), you will have to send your IP to your team/friend always if the ports 22003, 22005 and 22126.

You can let your server send a request to game-monitor to your server be shown in the MTA server list, you must adjust this CFG setting:

<ase>1</ase>

Probably you don't want to unwanted people mapping there, to avoid that you can set your password:

<password>herethepasswordgoes</password>

Hope this was helpful :fadein:.
