Hi, I've got a problem with MTA concerning my GPU. I have nvidia Optimus which is a hybrid gpu set: Intel + Nvidia - 2 gpu on one board. Basically Intel does all the 2D graphics like OS GUI while nvidia Ion only turn on when it's need. An how it knows when it's needed well that the shitty part:
While gta_sa.exe in singleplayer is discovered correctly the MTA version of this binary file is not discovered by nvidia optimus. And I can not switch to nvidia Ion Gpu only because then nothing works not even the singleplayer starts - I found something about the card it self not being able to render the menus so the Intel does it while the 3D graphic is managed by Ion. Basically the game only runs when those two GPUs work together (and of course when only Intel works but then it has 10 fps max ;/).
So what happens between "Multi Theft Auto.exe" and gta_sa.exe that gta_sa.exe is not recognized. I've also noticed that in processes my user is not the owner of gta_sa process while in singleplayer it is. Maybe because it's a child process of "Multi Theft Auto.exe"
So how does MTA version of gta exe slip under the optimus nose making me unable to play this awesome modification.
Any suggestions?
P.S. I've tried forcing MTA exe to work on Ion but it didn't help.
