Tumbling4255 Posted September 25, 2003 Share Posted September 25, 2003 it is jus the same....make a server..join it on ur computer and find out wat ur Network IP is (Yes They Are Different) mine was 10.0.0.1 and my other computer was 10.0.0.2 on the other computer open up the client and type in the IP that should do it..other than that i dont know Link to comment

Computer 1: Connect to 'localhost' (no quotes) _____________ Finding the IP of the server: Computer 1: go Start -> run... type cmd. type ipconfig. one of those is computer 1's IP Link to comment
True Posted September 27, 2003 Share Posted September 27, 2003 LAN worked for me. Used NetBIOS resolution... the server was named "mainpc", so all PCs connected to mainpc. Worked flawlessly. Link to comment
Alex3305 Posted September 27, 2003 Share Posted September 27, 2003 Õr you can find your IP and let everybody join on LAN.. And Computer 1 can set 127.0.0.1 instead of localhost. This is better because some ppl have edited the hosts file.. Link to comment
