0 Tsumetai
VPS's ALWAYS lag. They aren't made for game servers. Link to comment
0 Benevolence
That doesn't answer my question and no not all VPS lag, I've used them before. Link to comment
0 AGENT_STEELMEAT
VPS's are great, especially when you are hosting more than one type of service. I would recommend linux, however. Anyway, option #1 is the better one just beacuse it's nicer. I've seen a server with a very simmilar configuration to that hold up to 80 players with no lag, but bandwidth might be a bit tight. That said, the efficiency of your scripts will have an impact on performance and bandwidth. Link to comment

0 AeroXbird
VPS's ALWAYS lag. They aren't made for game servers. I once hosted a server with 30 players on a pentium 2 with 128mb ram, no lag. Link to comment

0 AGENT_STEELMEAT
I did a bit of research on that host, and the reviews are all negative - so look out. I'm looking at server4you.com, looks pretty legit. Link to comment

0 Tsumetai
Well, it all depends on the amount of cars there will be in the server. Look at Valhalla, they have a VERY GOOD Game server, but they still lag. That's cause they have LOTS of interiors and A SHITLOAD of cars. So, a server like the #1 would be good for let's say..80-90 people? Just don't let them buy 9999 cars. Link to comment
