[REL] ModLoader 1.0 - Loads any mod without scripting!

This makes sense. Didn't know that. Anyway it would be nice to inject all parameters of handling.cfg (or DFF data, correct me if i'm wrong) line into the MTA. I'm currently playing with my friend on a LAN server, and custom vehicles are making the game more exciting.

let me guess, support for specific vehicle texture (

) with a GUI for users to select what texture they want.

an option to download all mods or use gui

gui has a gridlist to select which mods you want, previewing or choosing a mod will download the mod files

When i start server modloader keeps restarting ? help?

maybe that would help u

Explained from me :)

-----------------------------

if u want the ped For ur server in MTA

Use ModLoader

viewtopic.php?f=108&t=36481

Download the modloader

copy the zip to (C:\Program Files (x86)\MTA San Andreas 1.3\server\mods\deathmatch\resources\)

un zip the mod , change the folder name to ModLoader2

then open the folder , put the skin u want in (Skins) folder (dff + txd) then back to server >> open it then type

start Modloader2 from (Main Console) or from Main Chat using /start modloader2

after that open MTA SA and ur server then choose that skin u changed it (id)

Have Fun.

------------------------------

with modloader you can put:

cars , weapons , skins

with just put (TXD and DFF) into (cars) , (weapons) , (skins)

-------------------------------

Special Thanks to Remi-X for Helping ppl with that easy idea :D

Really good work ;)

Yeah I have thought about that. Got a module with a bunch of file functions, including that anyway so I'll see what I can do with that. Still, loading of custom maps is quite complex anyway as MTA only supports replacing of objects - adding new ones is tricky. Well, actually not possible at all but there are ways to simulate this, such as a streamer to replace objects.

I will do what I can do for the next version. One thing is sure, it will be a hella lot better than this one :P

Hi. I was having problems with modloader because it said it needs permission from acl.xml to run. Then, I added the name of the zip (carmods.zip in my case) to the moderator and admin section.

Now I get the following message:

Starting carmods

carmods restarted successfully

INFO: Added file entry for vehicles: huntley - vehicles/huntley.txd

INFO: Added file entry for vehicles: huntley - vehicles/huntley.dff

INFO: New mods saved. Restarting resource

Stopping carmods

WARNING: admin\server\admin_server.lua:217: Access denied @ 'aclSave'

This message keeps repeating. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

You have to unzip the resource. ModLoader does not work in a zipped form. Also, ACL permission is optional, it's not required to run ModLoader.

Also: Only add an entry in either the moderator or admin group, not both. Admin group is the best as that will surely work.

And for the future with other resources: do NOT use .zip in the ACL, even when the resource is still a .zip. The file/folder name represents the resource name and that's what MTA searches for.
