libcurl.so.4, MTA 1.0.x and Linux Debian 64-Bit

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

I tried to setup a MTA-server on my Debian machine with 64-Bit, but there exist a problem after starting the server.

libcurl.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
ERROR: Loading network library (net.so) failed!
Press Q to shut down the server!

I already followed the steps in this Thread:

[TUT] How to get MTASA 1.0.x server working on Debian 64 bit

It doesn't fixed the problem, because it has nothing to do with libcurl.

- Is MTA actually compatible with 64-bit servers?

- How to fix this problem, if MTA is compatible with 64-bit servers?

I tried already to symlink the libcurl from the 64-bit architecture to the lib32-directory, but MTA can't handle it.

The result is something like ELFCLASS-error - Nothing strange, because it's only for 64-bit
