Hello,

I am currently seeking an Experienced GTA:SA / MTA Modder for a Simple Project:

Final Fantasy VII MTA Deathmatch Game!

Project Requirements:

- DeathMatch Gameplay Mode

- FFVII Character Selection Only:

I can do it :P

Everyone can but the thing is, not everyone will. You can mod the peds on your own but you will be the only person who can see the new peds.. If you want your players to see the same thing, you need to script it but if MTA doesn't let you change ped models then how can you say "I can do it"?

find ped models which matches your new one the most; readjust the texture mapping for the new one to fit this one, and import the TXD.

It worked out fine, but he's canceled the project due to other stuff.

Indeed these textures are different - the hair was going to be separate objects and it would take lots of time to tweak the texture for the model (and it would lack some stuff), but never the less possible (of course not with 100% perfection).

The payment were worth 20 full hours for me so it would be worth it

Dunno if Kuro wants to shed additional light on it, but he wanted a ff7 gameplay (with characters and stuff) in another game, he told me today he's found a game more suitable (with more ready files)

I have some scripts for that:

- exp when kill bot, new quest when you lvl up.

- rank beside nick when lvl 100 reached.

- 100 custom models from games: god of war, gothic, final fantasy, mound & blade

- 100 special textures for climate

- Future vehicles, with horses

- Mana, MP system, with runes then you can use spell. ( fire ball etc.)

- New sword anims

Is all.

Hey guys! sorry to have canceled the project / mod for GTA, but like Zango said.... i discovered alot of other Final Fantasy 7 mods for Star Ware Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy Game that was already created, and ready to be put together! So pieced together all the mods, weapons, character model, and even a map from the FF7 Game and Launched the Server for the Mod!

Zango, again thank you for initially agreeing to take this on, but i hope you understand. I found exactly what i wanted!

But you can make hm.... example "4story" or "world of warcraft" mod or something for gta sa and when you kill ped (skin replaced as monster) you gain exp and drop items with mobs.

Does anyone know when MTASA will support Full Custom Models Online? as I would love to still work on this project, and hire someone for the job... if the FF7 Character Models are fully playable and visible online to other players.

Dukenukem - yes, I agree you have a great point! =) adding RPG Mode Gameplay would be even better...

Ah that's unfortunate then. Sadly the TXD method won't work in 95% of cases so you're probably shot down Kuro. Pity though, custom ped models seems like a pretty obvious addition, given that other related features like custom object LODs have already been identified for MTA1.1. Oh well, maybe for MTA 2.0 :P
