Black screen at start of MTA

KM_Rose

Question

Hi all.

I have a friend who has downloaded and installed MTA SA 1.0.4. she has gta sa installed correctly, it works ok, but when she starts MTA SA from the desktop or MTA SA folder it causes a black screen and mta doesn't start.

She has tried mta sa 1.0.3 but it doesn´t work...

Somebody can tell me what is the problem?? GTA works so good, but MTA doesn't start :(

thanks.

Ok, i will tell her it.

She uses Windows XP, i don't know what is the video card that she has, but she can play GTA SA offline.

I will return to tell if the problem was solved.

Thanks :D

Oh, I guess I found the wrong driver. I don't think there is a newer driver available for your laptop on the AMD website, or on Compaq's support website. The network driver update certainly won't make MTA run (but it doesn't hurt to update, anyway), so I believe you're out of luck. Your laptop simply cannot run MTA, to the best of my knowledge. If you can track down some RAM to add to your laptop, it might work, but that's just a guess. Sorry!
