MTA SA "crashes after Stop playing with yourself"

Samuel Rowe

Question

Hi i have recently been trying to use MTA but something has been holding me back.

Whenever I try to start up MTA it gets to "stop playing with yourself" then you see the spinning disk icon, then it crashes and says gta_sa.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

This happens EVERY time. It worked on my other Motherboard or Graphics Card(one of these made it work) and now it doesn't on the one im using now.

SA-MP works fine as well as singleplayer. Just this one doesn't.

I read through all other similar problems but none seemed to fix it. Ive tried:

upgrading my Runtime Direct x files or whatever( it said mine were a higher version so there was no need to upgrade), Deleting gta_sa.set, deleting D3D9_42.dll, I've tried the stuff off the wiki (still didn't work), I've reinstalled both MTA and GTA many times, and I've got downgraded GTA V1.0 Europe.

My Computer stats are:

1.7 ghz P4 Processor

768mb ram

512Mb agp graphics card - HIS ATI HD3650

2 X 40 GB HDD

My other computers motherboard had:

2.4 ghz processor

ATI Radeon 9000 series 128mb agp graphics card

Could you plllleeeaaassseee make a bugfix for this or find a solution.

Thanks

Samuel

Im also sure my Drivers are up-to-date.

Quite possibly. If you've had a reason to install them before, then you likely still have an application which requires the .NET Framework. However, I don't think that any version of MTA uses the .NET Framework at all, so I don't see why uninstalling it would help with your issue. You can always try I suppose, and if it doesn't change anything just reinstall the .NET Framework.

Any more details about that crash? Try clicking the Click here button (as seen here - http://c4.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/imag ... 87a597.jpg ) and pasting the contents from the window that opens.

There isint a button. (well only the close one).

That was before i was told to try it with the nocd crack.

Now im sticking to the Nocd crack as i think we might be getting somewhere( no error but error noise)

I'll post my DirectX log to see if you guys see anything wrong:
