Different File Name

Hey, I bought San Andreas from Steam to play MTA. Downloaded MTA, installed MTA, it's all good but when I launch it, it doesn't recognize the .exe file as it is "gta-sa.exe" instead of "gta_sa" I believe. I tried renaming it but I get an error. I tried to patch it but it said there wasn't any file to patch.

Anyone knows how to fix this? I use Windows XP by the way.

As I remember, Steam GTA is a somewhat special version of the game, and is incompatible with most mods, including MTA.

My friend bought it on Steam too and MTA is working fine for him

Did you use any form of steam hacks such as some sort of undead patch to obtain your San Andreas?
