drifterCZ
hello, is in MTA any possible way to replace the normal radar ( http://blog.superhero.fr/public/jeux/GT ... _carte.jpg ) with http://www.myepsilon.org/maps/gtasa_aerial_map.jpg or something another? I want that all players can see the replaced radar in bottom left on the screen. is that real? I have experience with replacing buildings models and textures, but i haven't any ID of the radar parts map. thankss for helping AND another question: is possible to have animated gif image showed on screen ? i have never tested it but i think it will stops freezed on first frame, its there any way to make it animated? Gamesnert
About the first one, it seems to be possible to craft minimaps with radar areas. No real ability to use images. There does seem to be a resource for it, don't know its name or where to get it though. I do know about a big map (F11) replacement resource called Maximap, which literally replaces the entire F11 map. I'm not sure about the GIFs though. It might be possible with dxDrawImage, but I'm not sure. Link to comment
drifterCZ
i know, it must be .txd files, i have it, but i dont know the way to replace it in MTA... Link to comment
Gamesnert
Radar images don't have an ID, so you can't replace them. Unless there's a dev who makes this possible, of course. Link to comment

Well, dev is short for developer. So I mean MTA developer. Link to comment
Dark Dragon
you can display animated images by separating every frame and use dxDrawImage to display them. Link to comment
MOH
I edited the maximap file. Now, it will use the picture that you chose. Here is the link. http://uploading.com/files/5e2ff4me/maximap.zip/ Link to comment
Gamesnert
I edited the maximap file. Now, it will use the picture that you chose. Here is the link. http://uploading.com/files/5e2ff4me/maximap.zip/ You know, that's fine and all, but that's why this was displayed in the description: *** Examples resource: https://community.multitheftauto.com/index.php?p= ... ils&id=382 *** If you would have looked there, you would have seen I actually already implemented that there. Besides that, I guess he would clearly know how to replace an image inside a folder. Not really the need to upload it in a separate location. Link to comment
darkdreamingdan
i made a minimap resource meant for custom maps or custom model maps, used by Johnline and JostVice. It doesnt replicate the GTA radar exactly but it does the job. I cant actually remember where the latest version is, or why i never put it on the community website. Either way, it's somewhere on the interwebs. Link to comment
