New race map from SanZoR!

seems to be good, i like the end... but i think the map need something like a highlight, something what makes people say "Wow!". keep it up and finish that map to da great one

How many players does it support? Looks like some nasty chaos might occur with a lot of players in there.

Yeah, its nasty. But when someone hits sea mines, it will blow away, so that way is free to use. So if there is a lot of players, you cant first finish this, but when there is just few mines, its very easy to finish this. Also, at the end you can break trash cars way, so someone else cant finish this race. Also, if you can get to first checkpoint, you dont need to play map from start, and do it over and over again.

OBJECTS = +450

Checkpoints = 1 and goal

well, once you passed cp1 and die, you will spawn at cp1 again

BUT

if you die 1 more time before the finish, you will spawn at the start again.

maybe you should add just 2 or 3 more checkpoints.

mm... There is one place, where i can add one more spawn... But i think this one is better :)

I have tried this map with 10 players, and eveything were fine. Not sure with full (32) players, but this is good for small servers :)

yes you might have seen 100% Wankenstein server they have 40 spawn points in there server.

as MTA race only supports 32 spawn points. to make it to 40 you need to goto

C:\Program Files\MTA San Andreas\mods\map_editor (whatever your driver/location might be)

right click the map you want to access, open that map with Wordpad or Notepad. you see where

it says ect add some to like you said 40 but make sure you edit there places

or youll have spawns spawning on top of each other.

there is a way to avoid the die-after-1st spawn-issue:

simply copy a 2nd checkpoint on top of the first one and change checkpoint order...

Well that isn't completely true, MTA race doesn't sync offscreen object changes so if anyone hits a mine they will be blown away, but another player who didn't see the other player fly off can actually be blown away by the same mine. It looks weird on the screens of players who have seen the mine "blow up" the first time and allso see the 2nd player collide with "nothing". Same goes for exploding barrels and hay etc.

This is not particulary a bad point about the map, but just keep in mind this might look silly some times.

I will use this topic to publish my race maps, and that another one for dd maps.

I like the rocky tunnel part, it is more skill dependant. But it looks like some air jumps are just too big. People with lower frame rate's won't manage to make them and on busy servers players occasionally collide, loosing speed won't help them making the jumps.

This will result into respawning, and even more colliding and frustrations.

there seems to be a problem with the first map SanZoR-FTW. when i tried to download it i got:

Map name was SanZoR FTW, now i renamed it to SanZoR-FTW, and link works again :)
