A simple suggestion.

I actually like it, its very usefull for to make sure if someone is on your team when your playing a TDM map.

When i say i don't like them then I think about that color codes like the ones that can be used in games like Quake3, Call of Duty, Trackmania, ...

But colored nametags for the members of a team, so that you know where to shoot at are really useful i think

Now as you remind me .I got a question to mta team and Qa team.... how can you tell who’s on your team?

Yea, in stuff like Team DeathMatch it would be good if the teams had different colours on their nametags.

Even though it is useful, i feel the challenge comes from your knowledge without using the coloured nametags to help identify your team members, its the way personally i like playing, on the other hand some players would prefer to use that feature and i wouldnt say it couldnt be handy if introduced to the mod.

I dont know what others think but my opinion is the following;

SA-MP has it and it's pretty usefull when playing with about 5-10 people. Then you can see which individuals is who by looking at the scoreboard at hand and thereafter compare the name and color to the corrosponding one on the radar. But when more than 10 people join, people start to have the same colors which is undeniable annoying and highly inusefull.

But honestly. Isnt it logical that they will, or already have implemented team-based name colors?

What about for cops and robbers? Blue name tags for cops, white for innocent, and orange for wanted?

I think colours are better than having everyone white: it helps distinguish teams in team DMs and is better than nothing when finding a specific person using the map.

And better would be somthink like

/make 11 white

So when your friend join and he have for EXMPL id 11 you make this comand and you see him with white blip.And you don't have to search all map like in sa-mp to find someone!

Or it could be by teams... the color changing (/color) thing would be strange to implement to me, maybe the admin could do it, but not very useful.

I like Robix's idea: that way you get to choose which players are highlighted/coloured, and hunt them down/watch them much more easily.

And being a client-side feature, no more bandwidth would be used, and both the "all the same colour" activists and the "OMFG PRETTY COLORS" users could get on happily.
