I'm not sure if running the server is a process of validating the serial or not; but im sure the issue he faces is a client issue. He's trying to run the MTA:SA Client on linux using WINE Quote Wine focuses on Windows application protocol interface (API) calls and translating them to Portable Operating System Interface (POSIX) calls.
