Different gameplay?

Is it possible to log on a server and get all the civilians and cars going by? even get the police indicator?

You see, me and my pals would really enjoy to log on a LAN server and blow up some things in the Grand Theft Auto world...even get pursued by the cops. We would like to act as a team to really knock ourselves out in the complete San Andreas world. Is that possible?

No, that is not synchronized and would require a lot of work to do. The focus right now is to sync on-foot animations, weapons, etc. for a deathmatch mod. Synced peds are a long way off (or may not ever be synchronized..).

Peds would start to get quite boring, the AI intelligence for them isnt the best which is quite obvious from what we`ve experienced by playing in single mode, repetative killing would become perhaps boring after many times of killing them over and over etc.

Some people on the other hand may like the (positive) experience more than others, which is not a problem.

Negative impact would be the lag to begin with, overcrowded populated areas also would become annoying for others etc.
