dawpa2000
Microsoft Error Box: gta_sa.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Happens all the time when I start MTA, during the MTA splash screen. Bought GTASA in US, version 1.0 original I tryed different exe's with the same problem. Versions MTASA 1.0, 1.1, 1.1.1 resulted no change Reinstalled GTASA 3 times Single player works Call stack: GTA_SA! 00a6afb0() Alternatively, some users have managed to solve this problem by running MTA:SA in compatibility mode. Right-click the MTA:SA shortcut and select Properties. Click the Compatibility tab and adjust the settings there. No change Try holding down your control key as you start MTA. It should prompt you for where GTA is installed. Make sure you select the correct folder and see if that helps. No change C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas\MTA No log files found Link to comment

Also, try closing some other applications/services (assuming you haven't already) before running MTA, particularly VMware. Any difference? Link to comment
