Beat the Cock (555XIl4) These are two triathlon races located on Santa Maria Beach and Fisher's Lagoon on weekends only. They are unlocked after you unlock Las Venturas, and span most of the state. They start with a swimming race, which leads to a cycling race, and finishes with a sprint. You need high Stamina and Bike skill to pass these races. The reward for each is $10,000. I didn't know that you couldn't walk on foot in the first release , so how on earth do you go about using free roam mode(i assume thats included in the race mod Link to comment

In the race mod, there are 3 (announced) types of mode: 1. Race where there are markers to follow like in the single player game races. 2. Dogfight where you have several planes trying to shoot each other down. 3. Free roam is where everybody is still in vehicles but there are no targets (no checkpoints for race and no need to attack other players' vehicles) and you can travel anywhere on the map. orappa Posted November 2, 2005 Share Posted November 2, 2005 1) The race creator specifies the starting vehicle. If there was a selection screen, everyone would just choose the fastest vehicles each time. 2) You enter spectator mode until the next race. Link to comment
