  1. I play 0.5 because that's the only version people play, but I enjoyed 0.4.1 most for GTA3 and 0.3 for GTA:VC.
  2. Yep, not only is it possible but it's been done (at least the basics for now).
  3. Cool, a temporary fix for people using Vista.

    Tired.

It would be disappointing for most people to see a news post about a couple of short videos, we like to put more important information in the news posts.
  5. Moved from Scripting section (that is for MTA:SA DM only).
  6. Use the original .exe and tell us if it works. Also try deleting or moving the gta-sa.set file in your GTA folder under My Documents and start MTA (deleting the .set file will reset your game options).
  7. Just to clarify, this isn't possible right now, but it is theoretically possible to implement it.
  8. Don't double post and tell us specifically what happens so we can try to help you..
  9. Be more specific about what happens, I don't understand "my game screen is flashing and lagging."
  10. What you mention should be very easy to change, and won't require scripting due to the generic way game modes are coded.
  11. Good anti-cheat would help, you could even code your own that makes sure a particular vehicle doesn't go over a certain speed (though verifying acceleration would be harder).
  12. Yes, it's racing only. All you have to do is download the client and install it. You have to have GTA:SA 1.0 though, not the second edition.
  13. Yes, the on-foot version isn't out yet, you can read about it's progress on the main page.

    modz

Moved this to General, since it's not MTA related.

    I need the Center

You don't need it to play MTA, you can just cancel the login thing.

    modz

Donno, but they don't work in MTA.
  17. There won't be any default compatibility for race maps, you'll have to make your own script. As for converting them, we already have a Race to DM map converter.
  18. They didn't merge, the dev joined the MTA team.
  19. You can make them just like you make maps above water. If the spawnpoints aren't near the surface the players should spawn and drive around as if they were on dry land. And you can't create your own water, you must use the existing ocean.
  20. I think the Controls menu is only in MTA:SA Deathmatch (the version that is not released yet), it might not be in MTA:SA Race.
  21. Let's not turn this thread into a console war. About the multiplayer, I think it's much more likely to come to PC this time since it seems like it will be a proper online game, not a dual controller offline thing like in San Andreas.
  22. I don't see what MTA has to do with an FPS, the player limit may or may not be large, it needs to be tested first.
