  1. well mrbump told me that i shouldn't double post, even if my previous post was old, so (i disagreed, because i wanted to keep ppl updated about gtat, but i don't make the rules). at least this time i got a PM with a reason. that's a lot better than 3 posts that got deleted without a reason and an ip ban ( the moderator/admin who did that must have edited my sig as well ).

  6. because? i mean, that the MTA brought multiplayer to GTA3 was a sort of revolution, (i think) nobody really expected that anyone would start a multiplayer project. switching to C++ with an improved multiplayer version for vc was a small revolution for MTA i guess, but since mta 0.2 every new mta version was based on the same core, so i wouldn't call that an evolution; neither a revolution. MTA BLUE is supposed to bring another revolution for MTA, but i agree with ransom, all this revolution talk is getting kinda annoying. newsupdate with screens/ and or movies related to mta blue aren't however( in my opinion, since i want to see what the mta blue core is capable of).
  7. offcourse lag won't be removed completely, that's impossible(even if everybody had a 100mbit or 1gigabit connection with a ping <10 ms there would be lag).
  8. like with the mta blue announcement, again i was a bit too enthousiastic. i've watched the video again, and i noticed lag(vehicles). ah well, it's still early so, we'll wait and see if mta blue really is capable of showing singleplayer-like animations but it still is a fast update , so keep it coming
  9. yeah i was replying to the deathmatch case as well. well if i remember correctly, eAi said a few gamemodes were going to included with MTA BLUE, ok this is a core i know, but eAi was talking about racing/stunt and deathmatch. whether this is the case with MTA SA is unknown, but as the screenshots and newspage of MTA SA shows, they're working on a race gamemode.
  10. yeah i don't really understand why MrBump said "wait and see", since Slush already told about it( and if i remember correctly eAi said such things as well).
  11. it hasn't been confirmed, but it seems likely though. that's why i used the word probably. co-op gameply however, seems very unlikely to be included(though the chance of it being included is still there!).
  12. well Aeron didn't give a respectful reply now did he? he was making a disrespectful and very arrogant(sure if you can do it better than fatye, then do it!) joke. that's why there were such reply's as mine and jacob's.

Drunkenmasta you can always try to visit a website of another project (check my signature below), and post your suggestion there(you'll probably get a normal response). you see, MTA SA will probably include a racing gamemode, and (later on) deathmatch again; as far as i know they're not going to include co-op gameplay.
  14. fayte, you did a good job, but it's useless to make an anti-cheat script for MTA 0.5, it's just too buggy you see. besides i think it's very difficult to make an anti-cheat protection, if you don't have access to the mod's source(in other words, if you're not a teammember). i don't really know what program languages you work with(next to the ones you used for your script), but you could try to join another multiplayer mod team( SA -MP has a large team, though you can always try to ask if you can assist with anti-cheat protection; GTAT is also an option if you're skilled with Delphi). and don't mind Aeron, he's just trying to be funny

  16. it's a bit laggy in my opinion, but offcourse it will be improved. i mean it's the first sync, and certainly not the last.

MrBump or any other mod/admin, plz lock this one, and unlock the GTAT San Andreas topic, because the topic title of this topic doesn't fit the information in the GTAT San Andreas topic( besides this topic is full of flaming, the GTAT San Andreas topic is clean!) by the way, talking about GTAT SA here doesn't fit anyway, since GTAT 0.5F was supposed to be a VC RELEASE UNDER THE OLD CORE..... that's why i created a new topic. i don't see the problem, GTAC had more than one topic, same thing for GGM and the previous GTAT versions, so what's the problem????
  22. haha yeah i mean, i never expected that the mta team would give MTA SA such high priority, i thought they would finish mta blue and built a vc version on it first(in other words, would take some more time without much updates for the ppl . )
  23. after all the critisizing by me, this video really impressed me, you guys showed fast progress, and smooth vehicle sync( i even saw some shooting with aircraft ) i also noticed the checkpoints, seems like the race gamemode is coming along nicely, good job
  24. already building an SA version of mta on the blue core, must mean that BLUE is in a decent state, otherwise it wouldn't be possible to use it for MTA SA. it does seem to be possible after all
