  1. don't look at me, i'm not working on MTASA slush said that; i don't know why they only support 1.0; they might tell you though.
  2. well, check out their faqs/manuals, if you had done that, you would have found out that those only work with GTA San Andreas 1.0 besides, MTASA R1 will only work with 1.0 as well besides, just because you don't know how to run those mods; doesn't mean you will be able to start MTASA without any issues. some basic 'knowledge' is required
  3. oh i thought you were smarter than that click on one of those topics, obviously there is a link to the homepage of the mod.
  4. how about clicking on the link that jax gave? http://www.mtavc.com/forum/viewforum.ph ... ab1f058b93
  5. as you can see, there are more multiplayer mods, like GTA Rumble it has it's pro's and cons, though it gives a good preview of how gta sa multiplayer can be. as for gtat, i wouldn't recommend playing it yet; wait for version 0.3a (or other yet to be released versions) which will have a new netcode included. i don't know if it's gonna be a major improvement. but it will hopefully have one major bug fixed.
  6. press esc and then resume game? the first time i play GTA Rumble the sound volume is very low, but if i press esc and then i click to resume game it's solved. i dunno what's causing this, but i've seen it before while testing some of the other multiplayer mods( for example, gta sync'd and GTA Black Project with the old method; not with the new method. the cause might be related to the way some multiplayer mods inject into the game?).
  7. wow that's fast. but eh, the green healthbar, coïncidence : http://mtavc.com/mtasa/betascreens/20051031/blog1a.jpg no big deal though. but i just think it's funny
  8. that doesn't make sense it should be in the other mods section, or in the trash can , like all the other WIP ( yes that's justice and i didn't make that stupid rule). or recover all those WIP multiplayer mod topics and give them all a chance.
  9. go to the gtat forum, your problem has been reported many times(searching is the key). no shit, it's an alpha version nice topic bump by the way; it wouldn't do any harm if you actually had anything useful to add, apparently you hadn't.
  10. it's ok, like i said, i'm not a multiplayer mod basher. so i wouldn't mind if this mod get's a topic
  11. yes exactly. the only difference is that you see a chat( only i and the developers of gtabp have seen the gtabp chat, since it was added later with the new netcode). i'm not the kinda person that disses new projects, but i don't think your topic can stay, since you haven't released an alpha/beta release yet: http://mtavc.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=13778 if this topic stays, then i want the gtabp topic back as well( same thing for the other multiplayer projects). and it's impossible to give an opinion about this mod yet, i'll wait for that until there is more progress.

    GTA LCS

nice comparison, a multiplayer mod made by 3rd party developers, with a multiplayer mode added by rockstar themselves for the playstation portable offcourse there will be some glitches, but rockstar has the advantage of adding the multiplayer mode themselves ( more advanched gameplay, stable game etc.). not to diss the mta team or anything, but rockstar won't have to use the backdoor if you know what i mean.
  13. offcourse, they're certainly not going to focus on deathmatch. and in the end, they made GTA so
  14. well ChrML once said it was very stable and almost crash free. but probably the betatesters can tell you more.
  15. lol! and njr used to call me negative; ironic isn't it well if the amount of objects exceed the limit, the game will probably crash(if it doesn't exceed the limit; there shouldn't be a problem i guess; from what i know from spawning lots of vehicles around me ). what the exact limit of objects ingame is, i dunno; maybe the mta team can tell you. by the way, i just saw the video, actually that was quite a suprise. a while ago i already expected that the suprise would be add-on related, but i never expected it to go this far; you made a nice editor! i don't think it's necessary for the race mod though; but it's certainly wonderful that you managed to get such an editor ingame; must have been pretty hard to implement. this will be very useful in the other releases of MTASA. it seems like you've learned from the past hopefully you can improve the synchronisation even further(because the lag in the 1st video was quity annoying since i was told that most of the pings were <200 ms--> most testers were europeans ).
  16. yeah, he must be pretty desperate this isn't the first mod/forum where he acts like this
  17. lol can't find something else to enjoy yourself?
  18. it aint totally dead, but the project SA-MP is no more a new one will start soon good luck to kyeman with his new job though.
  19. jeroentje, just because more ppl are impatient, doesn't justify it
  20. would be pointless anyway to try to RECREATE multiplayer for GTA1 and GTA2. would take a lot of time though.
  21. how terrible, now the world will be doomed my guess is, that the team either is finishing the MTASA version to make it suitable for release, or they are doing some major bugfixing right now, and will soon release a new beta for the Beta test team.
  22. 3 days without updates and you already start to become impatient? you always are impatient. try to work on it man maybe you should have tried to become a member of their betatest team without asking it yourself. then you would probably know more.
  23. well actually you did, look: you gave a reason why you didn't like GTAT. and i answered your suggestion with the fact that MTA SA will be like that if they release it too quickly. if you meant something different then you picked the wrong words jeroentje
  24. actually they do, GTATournament and Online Andreas but i guess jon meant that people are waiting for a stable multiplayer mod with lots of features the GTA San Andreas engine is an upgraded GTA3 engine(GTAVC also used the GTA3 engine, but it wasn't as upgraded as GTA San Andreas' is now). GTA San Andreas is a new game, and it's becoming more popular than Vice City. i think that is why the MTA team gave higher priority for MTA SA over MTA Blue vice city.
  25. jeroentje you just answered your own question you say you don't like it when a mod is in an early state of development and not finished; but if the mta team releases MTA SA now, you'll get the same problem
