What about rendering you vulnerable for 5 seconds and THEN rendering you invincible. What harm could this cause on a stunt server, or some other game mode like CTF? on ctf someone could grab the enemy flag and pause till the own flag is returned and opium, you dont have to quit your game, just dont respawn and plz someone list 1 mp game where you can be paused like in the 0.4.x core judging by MTA's past, i wouldnt want to just sit in the char select screen in fear of crashing...

well, in other MP games, we could alt+tab.... but, it has already been said, that, in blue, you cannot... and sience there is no external client, when you have to do somthing, say....pee? you have to quit....very uncool.

pure server would mean, no mods are in it, that the MTA team did not include. (as you might include a DM mod in there..) equals no downloading

does your server have SQL support? if not, you cannot use your own forum... you need then, invasionfree

i know for a fact there is a way to keep track or pausing, with the alt+tab staying in, maybe without the game still "running". try this.. have all info in the client, suppose, somone kills you while alt+tabbed when you bring the window back up...boom, dead. same with most things. i mean, that, the client sends if he killed a actor, if he did... then , the player dies, depending on who killed him, when he gets back ingame. hope you can sort of understand what i mean...

that can be possible...altho, there would need to be a new texture/model for everything.. say.... face1 with blue pants blue shirt = player1 (model/texture) face2 with blue pants blue shirt = player2 (model/texture) a waste of space....but, possible.

all i will say is, the computer has many DLLs, all are not related. i can have 2 dlls in one folder, does not mean if one is a virus, so is the other. also, that DLL comes from many programs, like...teamspeak. or trojans. dont jump to conclusions.

Bump, I have never been able to have a single intelligent conversation with anyone ingame, nor have I been able to have very many decent games. Most players that I encounter ingame are immature, cantankerous, and unsportsmanlike. That's probably why I don't check these boards as often as before. It doesn't look like anyone will grow up in the near future. I mean no offense to anyone in particular, but I can only take so much of this garbage. I feel sorry for you, Bump, because you get to babysit so many of these kids everyday as soon as people grow up they tend to leave, or play less...go figure.
