You should have used the search engine before posting, because several people have had that kind of problem. Before pressing ALT-F12 (and after entering 1 car, leaving & entering another), you must make sure the other person has done the same AND I suggest both standing still. Once that's checked, press ALT-F12 Should work.

A briefcase with part of a crushed car inside? Why not have gold in it? Oh, and if the assassins can never become the VIP, then there needs to be an option to set a time limit, so you can have games where the bodyguard/VIP team can actually get a victory.

Although at times it may seem like a somewhat bad idea to release alpha & beta releases, as long as the amount of proper supporters outweighs the naggers (who post what, 10 times at most?), it is worth it isn't it? Besides, not only do you get support from the public, but you also get mentioned in magazines (yes, I read that post ), which in turn shows even MORE people what you guys/gals are doing and how much of a fantastic job you're also doing. (perhaps even offers from gaming companies etc for jobs if this becomes a totally awesome mod ) So I say to you Blokker, & the rest of the gang, keep up the good work. I know it may sometimes be annoying with ppl posting stupid things over & over again, but please, hang in there. There's still plenty of us totally 100% backing this project! (besides, you guys have to at LEAST beat GGM once before quitting, lol ) GO MTA! GO MTA! GO MTA TEAM! WOOOHOOO! :D

I don't mean to be rude or anything, but when people say "not too much time", or "not long", it still doesn't really say anything, if you know what I mean. So if you wouldn't mind, could you please tell the MTA world what your "not too much time" is compared to everybody else's? Whether it's 2 weeks, 2 months, or 2 years, I don't care. Just like to know what the "not too much time" is. Thanks in advance for the answer.

You guys should think of how you pronounce the words when reading artigamer's posts. I could understand all of them very easily. So either I am superbly skilled in reading, or nobody's trying to understand what he/she's trying to say.

It is in the end all upto the coders ofcourse, but if you do happen to figure out how you want to do peds & cops, determine how smooth/effective it is over 56k or something, & then over LAN. I will most likely only ever play MTA over the LAN here @ home so as far as I'm concerned it can be using the whole 100mbit/s Anyway, if you do figure out a cool thing, like cops & peds etc, do include it please! Don't exclude things just because it'll make it laggy for some/most ppl out there. Anyway, the peds/cops suggestions all sound pretty good. Nice to see people putting in an effort. If I think of something, I'll post it.

It's good to see someone who knows what they're talking about. I know I was only explaining the basics, but couldn't be bothered to check back as to what exactly it was. Before I got this computer I have now, I was out of the computer side of things for around 3 years. Still trying to catch up now, and having a hard time doing so... Glad I have friends that have kept up-to-date with it though.

Fair enough. I don't know crap about video cards, especialy the GeForce range. All I know is I'm buying ATi (and probably a 9100 or 9500, since the 9500 is the same as a 9700 once the firmware's updated, and the 9700 is the same as the 9700 Pro when firmware's updated )

There are plenty of tutorials out there drdre, just look for them using a search engine or something. You can find them easy as pie. I've flown for 29 seconds, but could've flown longer if I wanted to and also even moreso if I had a faster/better video card. (Hint: It has something to do with the 9 & 6 on the keypad! That makes the dodo go up/down --- unless u have changed the controls like me )

Best way to find out: Get your computer & a friend's computer networked, and try it! It's not hard to set up, all you need is a network card in each one and a cable to go in-between (just make sure you get the right cable!)

Might as well just get a destruction derby game for that I reckon. I dunno, others might like it, so... I'm just one to say no to this kind of thing, as there's games around that are designed exactly for that. However, if you can think of some alteration of destruction derby, like maybe with the ability to shoot the bazooka out the side windows, well, that I'd go for! Hehe.

If you have a program like photoshop, you can change the image size under the image menu. Not sure about other programs, but I bet just as easily with others. Just open the screenshot, then goto Image->Image Size, and set it to 640x480.
