I came home from work one day and found this... Is this a joke? Or is there really somebody who thinks he can just make clans disappear by beating them? This probably wasn't the right topic to post this in... sorry if it isn't.

REX, visit the forums occasionally and you'd notice you missed one and could get in on the one this weekend if you want... It was scheduled on Sunday for you, and so is the next one...

We weren't very active from early June to late July. Previous to that we played in the official and our own server...

I can't figure this out... is there a way to determine when a player is within a certain area via XY coordinates? Such as ... alias mta.hotzone if ((404 < [X value] < 425) && (617 < [Y value] < 645)) { mta.say $1 whatever } } I've tried a few things, none of which worked. I can't figure out how to seperate the X,Y,Z values. Help would be much appreciated.

Heh, this reminds me of a time that the teacher told us to go to a certain site, but he told us to spell it wrong. The whole class brought up the site and it was a porn site. We don't have any filters at our school, therefore MTAVC.com isn't banned... but thats a sorta funny story.

Go ahead and set TF up with the multi story car park in Ocean Beach.

Has anyone seen some of these demos from E3? The Unreal 3 engine can render some insane scenes, and the Half-Life 2 demo showed a ton of awesome looking gameplay... I can't wait for these games... the Half-Life 2 video even had a new version of de_aztec with some sweet new graphics on the new engine... wow.

First off, I just want to say that 'we' didn't ban him, it was some noob admin. I know (Utopia) him and know full well he wouldn't cheat. Trustees have the powert to ban, but not lift a ban. Otherwise I would have lifted the ban after it happened. As far as I know the only trustees are Robpol, Ransom, and I, however that must not be the case. At least the servers say who kicked/banned now.

Just messing around the other day {ULK}Chief hit the buey and I noticed it move closer to the docks, so I tried to jump on it, and made it... However since the buey wasn't synched with the others, they saw this:

It would be useful if there were a way to get a players coordinates in Vice City (X,Y,Z) through MTAMA. Depending on what the values are you could determine the location of a player... I don't know how this would work, just a suggestion. Also, perhaps a way to set a spawn point via MTAMA with XYZ values... this one is a bit further off if even possible I'm sure. Of course if the admin typed in the wrong number you may start spawning in the ocean or something, which wouldn't be good, but perhaps the values could be pre-determined and the admin could pick a specific area to spawn from... Just a few suggestions...

Yeah, I got close with the bike once... but I only tried twice. It'd be cool if you could pull it off, but when the bike hits the buey if always flips.

Camhack lets you change where the camera is... I'm zoomed way back and to the left in the screenie, as you can still see the aiming dot. Its at Codename Vice I believe...

Its not easy... we were originally gonna try to get on it with a bike, we had the ramp truck on the dock and everything, but the buey always flipped sideways when we landed on it. So we used a heli...

Hmmm.... I'm obviously not the avid forum browser, as I've just found this topic today. First of all, if this admin banned you after merely a few seconds of gameplay then there's no way he can tell a cheater from a lagger, and as I recall, his ping was 200+... The only way to tell for sure is to actually see them hacking (speed hacks/flying firetruck, etc.) or knock them down with a nade or shotgun. I do either of these, and will only ban after doing it repeatedly. This "Captain Kirk" is someone I've not heard of, but did talk to that same night after IMed by Utopia/Sion. I don't know what went on in the server so I can't say that its right or wrong, but judging by what Sion says it sounds to me like our admins need to be a little more careful and not be so quick to the ban...

Why not just post it Oli, I'd like to see it/possibly use it. However, thats not my question... I want to know if you can do two server echoes with MTAMA at once... I can't get it to work, I just get both of the servers to echo in one channel...
