  5. You can compare the rot in a old race map and a modern map. The rot axis order is maybe different also. example of rot axis order : rotx, roty, rotz order can be changed like that : roty, rotx, rotz

  7. gj, will be nice with vertex coloring change day/night , more dark at night + glow , people like things that glow at night. Some UVs animation will be a good thing also and ... Are they grided ? I mean can you place them with fast precision like track mania ?
  8. The map editor have a grid (more a precision tool) A visual grid and 4 views + 2D views will be good + multi elements support + scale tool... well, looks in the options for the precision thingy. BTW, this topic needs to be in suggestion.

  11. It depends of the stream distance, hugly models can appear closer and have more than only 1 LOD model, but more than 1 LOD models do not exist in gta sa I think... So we have : -LOD models that appear closer to keep the objects in the view with performance and without the pop-up effect. (GTA sa have it, 1 LOD) -Do not stream objects behind the player. (cone view technique) -Use mip-mapping. (LOD for texture, the computer load very small textures when they are far away so we have better performance and no dancing pixels with fences textures. GTA sa have it)

    Well it is explained in the web site : With 3D Ripper DX you can: - capture all geometry, textures and shaders, rendered during single frame; - import captured geometry into 3D Studio Max or Maya. So they become editable and yours. I'm not saying this is really bad to do it, I'm just saying that is possible to do it.

    Nha ! You can use it to steal maps mesh and textures + maybe the shaders. Use it in gta sa solo you can find the main map there too.
  15. I got something like that cause MTA was in a directory than contain a folder with a or many wrong character.
  16. 1- Looks for the function removeWorldModel in the wiki. 2- A 3D software and maybe an editor to place the cities elements and more... 3- Looks for seabed and airport land site objects.

  24. So wrong forum! Do you have any idea of how retarded that statement is? I know of a few users who do the same thing, they map for SA-MP and post their work on MTA forums, and vice versa. People are free to share their work with whoever they want, wherever they want. As far as I know there's no rules against that. It was an overflow of my hatred for samp Normaly I will answer this when somebody from samp ask for help because we do not help samp users there ! MTA also provide a better experience in mapping than samp. With all the client side contents you can give an artistic and creative side to your map.
