  1. nor will you have to in 0.3a I forget if that's in 0.3a, and i'm too lazy to check 0.3a as before, not sure. Will someone PLEASE get the MTA team and GoE (I think that's his name...) together for a chat or something??? Many things are in MTA that aren't in the other mod, and many things in the other mod aren't in MTA. Together you guys can create the most kick-ass mod ever. Please don't let this end up like with Apple and Microsoft. That would SUCK. (Oh ya... and something to think about: R* is making Vice City for PC, due to be released soon. They might have decided to finish the work on MP that they started in GTA3)
  2. Now then, you guys [by which i mean the programmers] probably have thought about this already (how couldn't you have?) But replays might be a method of syncing. You would create a sort of... replay system thing, where several game blocks are covered by one replay file. Here's the problem: If the files are downloaded from a server as the person plays, then there would be monstrous lag. But maybe, there would be a huge number of these files and you would download them with the mod! It would make traffic and pedestrian's movement less random, but without them there wouldn't even BE pedestrians or traffic. Just an idea from someone who has no idea how mods work... Try and avoid posting, unless you know about it, and aren't as un-educated as me
  3. Ya, but HL was made with the intention of mods. (A little menu that allows you to choose from them). GTA3 was made with the intention of MP3's and player skins being the only thing changed.
  4. actually, if you search KaZaA (use Lite... no spyware ) you'll find a fix for that. The saved game problem actually also occured in the retail version, but the 1.1 patch fixed it. The MYTH fix is sort of a hacked 1.1 patch.
  5. I am drooling over the idea of team deathmatch. I mean, there's nothing new compared to other games, and the weapons in GTA3 certainly weren't designed for multiplayer, but the difference between this Team DM, and say... Unreal's team DM, is that in this, you have several game miles in which to run around blowing the crap out of each other!!! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! I would like to give a round of applause to all of the people who have made this wonderful thing possible. You guys ROCK!!! P.S. Tell PC Gamer mag [www.pcgamer.com] about this mod, and you will definitely get a big response (if they like it enough, they'll probably put it in one of their columns!)
