Well I can understand why people don't like you.
Why not just ignore the chat box and concentrate on the game - then no one will know that you're French.

As far as I can tell, it's very close to Singleplayer smooth, also when running. Vehicle smoothness is also improved significantly from Race 1.1.1.
Yes, I was very impressed with the difference in smoothness from race to the current alpha dm. Whereas in race other people's cars always seem to go off at weird angles and then snap back, in dm even on a server running from a home computer that only happens rarely.

Is the uploader blocked from rating his own map? Also does a single vote give it that rank? (i.e A single person votes 5/5 it gets ranked 5 until other votes come in)
Yes the uploader is blocked from voting.
At the moment, yes a single vote will give it that rank, but we're working on ranking them also by the number of votes.

I think the review will be very interesting, especially for people who were worried that the first release was just going to be racing. As you can see, with the map editor you can be very inventive. And I have to say - Jordan certainly does like those exploding barrels

When I put the mouse cursor over my yellow dot, it says hidden. Yet I havn't seen anyone else with a yellow dot so I dunno..
You and JonChappell have set yourselves to hidden. For everyone else there is no dot next to your names.

Sort of - there's an emulator called ScummVM which will let you run your SCUMM-based games (like DOTT, Sam & Max, etc) in XP.

I understand that a dot on the topic image means that you have posted in it, but what is the difference between a red dot and a black dot?

Ok, thankyou. I didn't know that you couldn't walk on foot in the first release
, so how on earth do you go about using free roam mode(i assume thats included in the race modI think there's been a lot of misunderstanding of the free roam mode.
In the race mod, there are 3 (announced) types of mode:
1. Race where there are markers to follow like in the single player game races.
2. Dogfight where you have several planes trying to shoot each other down.
3. Free roam is where everybody is still in vehicles but there are no targets (no checkpoints for race and no need to attack other players' vehicles) and you can travel anywhere on the map.
I hope this clears it up.

Cars and peds are synchronised in GTA2 Multiplayer.
I've played it a lot on LAN.

Oh, okay. I was just thinking if two drivers got annoyed they could jump out of the car and have a punch up or something. Can you get out of your car in Free Roam, before the race?
