This will only work for Fedora, but its a nice solution. For other distributions, just install Xerxes as the requirements of th server tell you to.
For Debian:
apt-get install libxerces26
Fot gentoo you can emerge the libxerces26 package.
ok.. for the ones that dont get it:
=== THERE IS NO DEATCHMATCH FOR SAN ANDREAS YET ===
The picure you have posted is a preview one from hte developers. There is no way yet you van play it.
There is only a race MTA released, so you cant play anthing else yet.
Please wait for the Deathcmatch release.
Before you ask: we dont know when its released, becuase its not finished yet
Please stay on topic. This topic is:
Multi Theft Auto Forum Index -> General MTA -> Add-ons -> MTA:SA General Use Scripts | Final Version!
It has nothing to do with connecting MTA:mA to a server. This problem is a FAQ. Please update your server version.
Yes, thats exactly what Oli's script is doing. If you expect it to do sometihng else, please explain what you expect in the ini
Furthermore: /help /writeini
Certainly you can improve your scripts by decreasing the amount of lines read for an operation. Changing if's in elseifs, using less varaibles and so on will improve performance. mIRC scripts is a very slow scripting language and its quite hard to tell what to improve.
There is no benefit, but these people just dont seem to know there is a new version, or they like this one more (maybe they dont have access to change the server atm). If you cant play on them, just use an other one.
Click on Start->Run
Type in
"cmd"
In the black command prompt type:
cd "c:\program files\mta"
Use you MTA installation directory here. It is the one you have installed MTA into during the setup.
There you can start the server with the command
MTAServer.exe
