  2. The only way to have the vice city map on MTA:SA, you need to set up a server for a total conversion mod like San Vice or GTA:United. Or you can maybe create one by your self, but that to much work for what already done is. You just go to the gtaforums go to the topic off the mod, and say you open a mta server for SanVice/United. Set a password on the server so people who don't have the password can't go inside you server.

  5. Can't you do it by your self? It isn't that hard, just go search in the GTA VC img files for the txd, and the dff files. Converted them to GTA SA computable ones, with 3ds max and script them into your script.
  6. Well, when the heli forward leaning, to go forward and you jump off with your parachute, the parachute fall is not right, you fall something like "/" if you have the parachute on.
  7. Little suggestion: When you drop your self off the heli, and you have a parchute on it doesn't work well... Maybe you can add a better parachut support.
  8. I've test it with some people, i think that is to hard to grab a heli, you should make a bigger col or something. Its a real cool script! 5/5
  9. Hi, I've been wondering if it should be handy to add a createWater function to the map editor, now you need first get all coordinations and stuff. There is then a water option in the element panel. and then you first need to set the bottom coordinations and then the height. Thanks,
  10. All of these seem like drawbacks. I know that's basically how RP is.. just something I probably wouldn't enjoy (sreh) Too much FR, RP and Race these days. What happened to the DM days of 0.1 -> 0.5 Really need to setup a TDM/Stealth server, lol. I have contact with a big SA-MP server, that may will open a TDM server on MTA: SA 1.0. I'm the scripter then and they will host the server. So may there come a San Fierro Team Death Match in MTA: SA 1.0.

  16. Do you mean with scripting or with single-player. If you edit all files single-player just like a total conversion. You can create a special server for all players that have the same total-conversion. GTA Criminal Russia or something did the same thing.

  19. I agree, at a RPG you need to hold you on rules, like that you may not do drive to hard, and other stuff. A RPG does not put the sync on the test. At a big Death Match mode you can do whatever you want.
  20. A suggestion: Maybe you can set a little option in the menu: Search errors and warnings Like that its detect some wrong LUA syntax, like you forget a ")" to set (Just a stupid example.). Or that a function you used in not anymore in the currently version. I think that would be pretty usefully.

  22. where do you live? perhaps you were far away from the server, as far as I remember average ping on the server was ~90 The Netherlands, the strangest thing is that Gamesnert or Sebas who also live in my country, has a normal ping. And i don't have a slow internet or something. (7.1 MB ADSL)
  23. Mmm... For my this was a really bad test, i've got high ping, much desync and crashes. The high ping is a strange thing cuz i normally have a real good ping. Hopefully the next test would be better. PS: I dunno if this is true but, if i go on a server with a lot of people i've got a ping like 500, but normally thats 60/70.
  24. Is it including the data files, cuz when i uninstalling my nightly my data files are also gone. Or don't i need to uninstalling when i installing a new nightly?
