Hey everyone, I've seen the mp3 randomizer tool but it seems that it only works for single player games. Am I mistaken or can someone tell me if there is a way to randomly play your own mp3's in the gta mp3 directory?

bobo.. open source is good because it means (essentially) that anyone can take a look at how it was made and can modify it. And I'm hoping someone with some coding skills out there will get interested in working on it to improve the mapping program.

I'd like to see it work with mta to provide more variety in the future and the creator of moomapper has now made it open source since he/she doesn't have time to work on it anymore. Being that it is open source greatly increases the chance of it being able to be compatible with mta and I think mta as a whole will attract more users and keep people playing more if there ar eother maps in the future. I have 3d moddeling skills myself and have played with moomapper but the path editing isn't great and is a major pain in the ass to get new pedestrian/vehicle paths implemented. moo mapper link for open source version http://www.chronetal.co.uk/gta/

would be an easy way to show mta team in one place what features users would really like to see and then they can work on the most desireeable and possible requests

because this site has some minor issues with being able to find threads quickly. eithe rosmethin glike I mentioned or refine the search feature so that you can skip to the next instance without have to search 25 pages of 1 thread.

what exactly does your comment mean vass? I'd luv to see new maps for vice city if the editor were better

make a new section for all suggestion polls, might be easier if everyone was voting in a single section

mtavc during nighttime (I know this has been mentioned) but it would be nice to be able to select day or night time for your server.... would be a little harder to cap someone when you can't see them as well...

no the scroll whell isn't hard sloth.. but this is a muuuch better idea... anything to speed up gameplay is great.... many people die now while switching weapons.. it can be sorta slow at times

moomapper is now open source, I was jsut curious if anyone on this board has been playing around with it and planning on a new version? Looking for better path editing more than anything else

cool idea.....would also be nice if you had a button to toggle views or even the views of others that are in same vehicle as you.. but I envision many graphic issues with trying to accomplish this

I'll have to admit the hyper spee dissue is really odd and I haven't seen a single post about it. I also know it sound like a speed hack but my friend and I are some of the "older" players of MTA and can garuntee that isn't the case. As far as the ping issue, my friend never has a ping above 100 (cable modem) so I'm thinking it has something to due with the videocard (ati radeon 128MB) although he has the latest drivers. We always try to play on servers with 0 tolerance for cheating and as low of a ping as possibel. I appreciate the reply though.... not sure what other info would be relavent. Chewd

GTAdude.. I've been at my friends house when this has occured and neither he or I have ever cheated nor plan on it. The game goes out of sync and goes into hyper speed. I'm not sure what other kind of info you need however but will provide whatever I can. The ONLY time this happens is when he first starts a game, goes and grabs a helicopter without ever getting into any other vehicle first, then he starts flying at hyper speed. Then hyper speed applies to cars and being on foot and the only way to get rid of this effect is by restarting VC completely. As far as the helicopter issue and dying when over water, if I am flying and he is the passenger and I fly over any portion of water and hit a part of the map where it has to reload then he crashes and is back at the spawn screen. If we fly over a bridge, he won't crash, but the second I pass the heli over any water and it loads a new section of the map.. boom.. he's dead and I'm flying all alone

Hey everyone, I'm writing in behalf of a friend tha tI play with who has two very odd probs I haven't seen ont he board yet 1. Everytime I pilot a helicopter and we go over water, he gets disconencted but doesn't happen when he pilots? (and yes, I know someone is going to tell me to be the pilot then) 2. My friend has bene accussed of cheating and I know he's not.. what happens is that 50% of the time when he gets into a helicopter.... he is flying at super speed, then it happens to spread to driving cars and walking around but it only happens after he gets into a helicopter first. Bu tthe part that sux as well is that he drives/flys into building constantly and ides quickly cause it's so fast it's impossible to control? anyone have any idea what could be causing this?

TOM ALWAYS cheats.. if your running a server.. I'd ban him immediately.. he sux

I found a thread on this board for streaming music in MTAVC using shoutcast. Is there any feasible way that you could get the artist and song title to appear as they begin through admin window? Or any other method to let people know on your server what you are playing? I also have put together tons of playlists that I want to use on my server and would be great if there was a script that would allow others to vote on a genre of music. I tried to keep my playlsit varied to satisfy all but know that's nearly impossible. Thanxs... Chewd

Hell to all on the MTA team, I know there is an addon section and a scripting thread but I wanted to give this one more shot and direct this towards the developement team directly. There have been a few people that have made some nice scripts to accompany MTAVC but most of them are posted in message threads and I was hoping that you might consider adding the actual .mrc files to your download section . I've been given some grief over this from MTA users but to be honest.. there are more than a few members that just don't have the familirarity with mIRC at all and to simply put it, jsut don't get what to do (me included). I've had limited success getting the votekick script to run for example and have no idea what I'm doing wrong. Would you consider putting these files in your download section or maybe someone would be kind enough to thorougly (and I mean thoroughly) explain the process and help us out! Thanxs for the input... I appreicate it.. I was considering changing priority up to high since I've got 3 GB of RAM.. but reserved 1 GB alone for windows system processes using tweak ui.. think it might work in this case?

I haven't tried it yet, but I was wondering if anyone thinks you might get any better performance from MTAVC by changing the process priority in task manager? Just a thought...

Try the 4:20 servers... they are not always up but when they are there they do races.. demolition derbys and are up for any other varients usually. They also have zero tolerance for cheaters and good bandwidth

Hey there, I was wondering if someone from the MTA team would consider adding all the tested scripts to the download section so that people can just add it to mIRC root. I've noticed many (including myself) have had some issues getting certain scripts to work. There are many on this board who are not familiar with using mIRC and it would be a great help. Please help with votekick script! I copied the posted script into notepad and renamed it votekick.mrc then put it into root directory of mIRC. It worked fine the first time but I can't get it to work since. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but if someone would be knid enought to share some info I'd appreciate it. I used the mentioned command of !votekick 0 and it's not working right. I even tried using the mIRC load script button.. and nothing. I really have minimal mIRC experience if you haven't noticed already. Thanxs again
