  1. One "fatal" flaw with this idea you would get a guy on his own gang he would get an m16 and own a whole gang in one go. Actualy maybe that would be sweet, at least for the l0ner
  2. The other mod "ggm" does not have synced anything. When another player jacks a car on his screen it just sorta appears out of knowhere on yours. Like wtf?? Also when he is driving he dodges cars that arn't even there and drive straight through cars on your screen that just go flying. Ggm has Uber lag cars sometimes drive side ways or upsidedown(rare) some times even with the front or back up in the air. I think the bubble idea is great and we definatly need to have peds and cars otherwise it would not be GTA. How did gta 1 and 2 synce there cars ? can't be that different.
  3. A gta3 rpg would be kewl, but i think we are geeting a little ahead of ourselves we need to get a basic detahmatch multiplayer to work (that has little lag) before we start to worry about more complex game types.
  4. I am assuming this method uses the CopyMemory api function to copy the data structures raw data in to a Byte array and then sends it, well thats how i would do it I would be interested to see the source code as well.

  6. Actualy HL did not have a mod browser in the first version, it was included in an update, but most copys you buy are already updated somewhat.
  7. A: Because EA make shit loads of games, only a small percentage are war games? Q: EA Suck, they mass produce games I hate to think what would have happened if EA made GTA3 or Owned rockstar, I mean look what they have done to westwood. Do you agree when i say EA suck?

  9. I doubt that GTA3MTA will work with a proxy server, I can't actually think of any internet games that do
  10. The game uses TCP/IP to comuncate, there are no plans to introduce "modem2modem" play you will have to play over a LAN or the Internet
  11. With v0.1 you could set the number of hidden packages/total missions complete. So you would not have a save game you could sett the memory flags to specify that the game was complete

  13. The couach is no the best vehicle to use as you will fall off if the coach goes too fast the best vehcle would be a pickup truck with the second player in the back, less likly to fall out
  14. Jezus, stop moaning about it being to complicated. As I understand it in the version it will be soooo simple 1. Load GTA3MTA 2. Conected to a game 3. Launch the game and load a save game No more alt-f12 ing or getting 2 cars
