Alright so I found out another fix: I changed the resolution from standard to borderless and it works fine now.

Hello! Few days ago I built a new PC and installed MTA on it. After starting the game (and without minimizing) it worked fine but after minimizing it few times it took a while to get into the game again and my game started to freeze every few seconds. The freezes take 1 second to 30 (or even more). When I can't do anything, I stop the game with Task Manager and start it again but this time I have freezes without minimizing. The only solution I know for now is to restart my PC and to not minimize the game anymore after restarting. I didn't have this problem on my old PC (that PC was probably 7+ years old) GPU: RTX 2060 SUPER CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600x

Can't be. It's working on 1.5.2 but not in 1.5.2. I also downloaded the original gta3.img

Hello Dutchman101, first of all, thanks for your reply, I appreciate that! I installed a non modded gta3.img file but I still can't join the server, it's still crashing. After that I downloaded MTADiag and there were some modded files in the GTA folder so I downloaded the original files and replaced them. I tried to join the server but it's still crashing.
