AMEN Sloth ---------- I would be pleased if this racing preview came out today but it seems like the announcement was wait an unnamed amount of time for a racing mod and a blog. What is a bit annoying is how VC seems to be put on a backburner while it's in such disrepair. Please shine that thing up a little bit to give us something to play in the meanwhile... other mods not withstanding In the big picture I guess most of this angst in this topic comes after most of us tested the VC:MP mod today and it was the first glimpse at the future. And MTA is being lampooned because they are the only sucessfully released MP mod to date. Why can't ppl just be happy they have options instead of mad at MTA that they are not all things to all people? In the big picture just be happy that if you don't like this racing mod you may have another option. If that other option is everthing you wanted don't be mad at MTA about that. Just thank the other mod. When the MTA Blue stuff is out in all it's glory you can compare it to whatever else and play what you want. It's a win win If you want to be mad, be mad at R* for not making this themselves. Im not mad at MTA because VC:MP is good. I am a bit disappointed that they are making a racer for the first release instead of fixing what can be fixed in the current version to keep the ppl playing.

That is the PartyServer but there are many ports with different servers on them Report cheaters for that server here It's not very likely that EVERY player uses speed or telelport cheats... It's possible that you ran into regular lag and or desync. If you are new to MTA please read this topic

If you actually made a comment I could rebut it but since you just want to take the lazy route I'll just explain why I can't allow the crusader and why it would be good to fix it. you can only be crusader one time before the armor glitch kicks you for trainer usage... the only ppl who use crusader are doing it to gain 100 armor as any character they use after they die as crusader.... It makes the job of detecting cheaters more difficult because they could be purposely or accidently "armor glitching"

deleting the 100 armor from the crusader is difficult? that would open up a character that we don't allow right now

I begged him to ban you btw... you were driving your car through the walls of the mansion up to the roof and your car was blowing up all of the time. I don't know how you could be punching when you were in a car at the time. I have never heard of a desync or glitch that makes you look like you are in a car when you are walking

Well think about who we could have.. Kung Fu, DeathB, Zircon aka "teh lag", Quig, Gamefreek, Kent, umm me just a few I think MTA Olympics sounds a little better fit eh? we don't have Quig... but that's another thing in our favor, lol

your question is will the game be client side or server side I assume it's still client side like it is now but the new core would make the sync better so you don't miss the something like the "get up" anim and see the guy sliding on the floor... etc.

either stop talking about cheating in MTA or change your signature... Despite what this douche is saying most of the things that may look like cheating in MTA are just glitches and desync.

And it's most likely the desync it's really bad in this version of MTA... Try restarting your game only or your game and client and it may fix the problem. Also remember this type of thing before you accuse ppl of cheating... most of the odd things you see in MTA can be explained by desync or any issue involved with the game being client side instead of server side...

I think the reason this was frowned upon was that wojjie.net also rented servers and they host this forum, IRC and Official servers... http://www.wojjie.net/gaming.php Even if that is still the case I don't think they have servers in Germany and this could only be good for MTA as long as the ppl know they are not renting from MTA and MTA isn't affiliated at all.
