It's probably your computer.... When I first got fraps and tried to use it, I only had 128MB of RAM and a 32MB video card, and fraps would slow Vice City down so much that it was unusable, even when I set the game at the lowest possible graphics acceleration.

lol thx very much. You're right about the music, I'll never be able to find a song everyone likes, so I'll just stick to the music I like... my condolenses to those of you who like more modern music lol, if I were making the videos for just myself I would probably have orchastral or funk lol...

Well thanks for the input everyone. I'm making a new one with some great stunts (it's still in development, so I'll take the tip and get rid of some of those tacky transitions). So far I'm only working with the pcj but since you guys like the variation I'll put some other vehicles in there. And for the music, anyone object to enter sandman? hehe anyway the camera angles are fixed (thx whoever tipped me on that) and this new vid should be quite a sight...

yeah I had an account before and everything uploaded fine, but it won't on my new account.

It was in the rules that you have to land and ride it out for 3 seconds, so the one in the water won't count...

I went to thegamersalliance.com and made an account, and it won't let me upload my video. It's a wmv about 11mb, and it takes a while to load up the next page after I click upload, but when I look at the list or type in the url it's not there. Can anyone help?

When I make a good stunt, my replay usually keeps the camera in "beside the car" mode for most of the stunt. Is there any way to change the view while watching the replay, or to make that camera angle dissapear? If someone could help that would be great.

I use an analog playstation controller to play vice city with. It really helps with control... The keyboard only lets you go left or not left, right or not right, so it's kinda hard to keep a wheely on it. The analog controller gives you 3 or 4 steps of variation in wheelies, stoppies, and turning. (as well as the speed of turrets on the tank and how quickly a helicopter turns round.)

And the height is zero... how can you make such a long jump with barely leaving the ground? And 169 degree rotation... if you went on a jump facing the right way you would land almost completely turned around...

You can shoot through any window as long as you get close enough to it. Any game that uses 2D planes as windows usually bugs out that way...

Like I said before, you can't get the heavy vehicles up there using my launching method, but I'm sure there is some way to get them up there... someone will soon enough have a good idea to find way to do it.

I thought it was alright... you could do with some better stunts with the faggio (like jumping it from the blown up building). Make it go high, find a way to make it go faster than normal (without cheating), try to do something that would be an extreme challenge to the average player. You could also try to make the video quality a bit better, but that doesn't matter too much. In all I thought it was a good idea to try something different by making a vid of the faggio.

I would say Sandstorm by Darude (I voted techno ) but someone already hd that song in their vid... Darude is great for techno though if you choose to use that genre.

I got the baggage on the roof without any cheats or mods at all! It's rather easy to do... Just stop the baggage car at the peak of the jump (it's flat) and then get a fast car (I used the hotring racer) and go all the way back like you're going to jump normally. All you do is run straight into the baggage and it will be launched up onto the roof. I was lucky enough to have it land on it's wheels on the first try. I also tried with the bus and the whoopee, but they were both too heavy to be launched...

Another weird thing... we both made "Experienced One" (30 posts) At the same time too... spooky....

OMG!!! I just typed my challenge and it returned to my post and showed yours! That's like the weirdest thing I've ever seen!!!

Here's a challenge: Use a packer and jump a car or bike off it to the rock formation off shore near the marina... I imagine it will take a lot of time to tweak the speed at which you hit the jump, the placement of the packer, etc. I think it would be cool to see.
