    Voice chat on a GTA game would NOT be something I would suggest. As you know, most of the people playing the game are loud, rowdy, obcene, etc. Now, I'm not bashing anyone, its just you wouldn't be able to think or anything.

    If you want to voice chat, just run a teamspeak server. It does run very slimly, I was able to use it while playing a PS2 game even, and not lose connection.

    This is cool & all but... 32kbps??! C'mon man... A lil more quality would be nice... :roll:

    I run a radio station for OCGN.com (Online Console Gaming Network) and we have software rigged up to have talk shows over the internet. Tonight at 10PM EST is our first official broadcast, and we hope anyone who likes games will tune in tonight.

    Some time ago, there was a pole asking the community if they would rather play GTA3 on one island or use teleporters to play on all 3 islands. This may be an idea for the version after MTA .4, but what if players could switch between the islands by getting on the subway train that connects all 3 islands in GTA3. Getting on the subway could act as walking into the teleporter and then the animation of the train going through the tunnel could play and the gameplay would be almost the same as the original game. By still playing the animation, it would seem more realistic than just appearing somewhere. I think this is good, because riding the subway is more of a true GTA3 action than jumping through a teleporter. What do you guys think about this? :idea:

    Well, I've been having this problem lately in MTA in which not all of my chat messeges get through..as in they don't send and don't show up in the chat window.

    About 55% of my messages do not get through. Here's my system specs:

    WinXP Home

    ATI All-In-Wonder VE (Radeon 7500) (primary)

    & Intel integrated graphics (secondary)

    768MB RAM

    Windowblinds..

    Recent changes to my system include the dual-monitor set-up as well as the ATI card. It works well, and plays VC on the primary display.

    Any suggestions?

    1: Add civilians and cars somehow

    2: Add more player choices

    3: Add more weapons

    4: Have the ability to add servers to favourites

    5: Make some weapons not so powerful

    6: Really try to stop cheaters

    7: Try to split the bandwith users up, e.g t1/56k/whatever into seperate rooms to make it fair for laggers.

    8: Add proper service people (could be quite fun hehe)

    9: Add boats

    1: No, this would be incredibly laggy and there aren't enough cars allowed in a game at a time.

    3: Different power weapons, sure

    4: I agree..actually an ASE search function built into the client along with that would work nicely.

    #1 whats wrong with zonealarm? suggest anything better? (I do have the pro version)

    #2 ever try that nifty little "reset" button on the back of the router? It'll reset everything back to factory settings..and most likely the password too..

    Well, I do love roaming free throughout the city, but teleports would be no fun, and it would probably cause a bunch of bugs and problems--plus take longer.

    I vote for option 1. Maybe it will give a little more value to the server you select.
