I strongly believe it has nothing to do with MTA (bug wise). I think it's something on your computer or game which you have not configured right.

Then I recommend you to completely remove Multi Theft Auto from your PC and install it again. Also, does the sound from GTA San Andreas work for you?

My bad! Didn't see the link. Check your mixer to see if MTA is not set to 0% volume. And if you want to be 100% sure, I recommend reinstalling GTA San Andreas and Multi Theft Auto to make sure everything is reset and set to default.

Hey MTA Team, I've tested this to make sure before creating this topic to save you guys time. On version mtasa-1.5.5-full_rc-14219-20180903.exe I'm having a black screen issue. Then I tried version mtasa-1.5.5-full_rc-14217-20180902.exe and then it works all fine. But that's not the case.

Wow. I thought it was on my end. Last time I played was around 3 years ago with my GTX 960. 2 years ago in June/July I bought a GTX 1080 and just recently I started playing MTA again and I got performance issues. Tried looking it up but nothing to be found until this topic just got created. I'm happy to read that you guys are working hard to pin point the problem.
